I am a mother of 3 awsome children, and I am married to the greatest man in my world. I am new to RAW and look foreword to learning all there is to learn about it. This year I lost my best friend because she was over weight, she was only 24. So I prayed and asked God to show me how to lose weight and be healthy for me & my family. When I first heard about RAW, I was watching videos on YouTube and came accross Philip's story. I knew that God sent that video to me, I have never heard of eating RAW until then. And I know that changing my lifestyle and my family's to living RAW is what God wants for us.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
Moral support is always welcome. At this point I am looking for transition advice, I read just about anything I can get my hands on however personal advice is so much better because I can ask questions.

Favorite Raw Food or Recipe?
Any kind of green salad. Peas fresh from the garden. Strawberries & Grapes.
Interests (outside of Raw Food):
Spending time with my family is the most important. I love spending time outdoors..swimming in the lake or river, camping, pic-nics and just a nice walk in the woods is awsome. Right now I spend alot of time reading anything I can get my hands on that has to do with RAW. If ayone has any suggestions Im wide open..I pretty much just love to spend time with my family. I love to listen to music, it sets me free if you know what I mean. And I love to meditate. Oh and I love hugs :-) And happy people.

what kind of veggie do your kids like? start to "play" with something they like - then you can experiment with other things - it is also good to let them help you in the kitchen - I do that with my teenage girl - we makes a lot of smoothies together - I used to put some spinach in the blueberry smoothies and she did not notice :)

The tribes are gathering.. Do you want to live in a more human model of society. It has long been an idea of mine to begin a Permaculture based community, however I am reminded that community is about sharing with others, not doing it all yourself!
