- About Me:
- I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. My husband and I own and operate a raw food business called 'Making It Raw'. My website is finally up. Our focus is on Kids and of course for parents as well.
I've been a vegan for 19 years, and 70% raw during that time.
I'm also a Certified Chef and Nutritionist and later certified as a Rawfood Chef and Lifestyle Coach.
I went 100% raw 7 years ago and started teaching raw classes and workshops.
I've written and published my first book called, 'Have Your Cake & Eat It To' that you can view at www.rawmom.com or visit my blog at http://moniqueatmakingitraw.blogspot.com
I've written several articles for the Raw Divas.
I'm currently working on a new book with Stephani McGirr, another mom from rawmom.com .
The new book is called 'Healthy Kids In A Toxic World' . We have a 'RAW KIDS MAGAZINE' coming out in July. When it's ready you'll be able to order it from the sight. For now the first issue of the magazine will be free. I would love to keep it free but it will not be possible.

- The raw food community here in Nova Scotia is finally growing, YES! I would love the continued support and encouragement from other rawfoodist here at GI2MR. Hi,
Just wanted to let everyone know that I've been working on a new magazine called, 'RAW KIDZ MAGAZINE.' We're hoping to have it out by July. We have a great team working together to make this an amazing magazine for KIDS. You can view a picture of one of the covers I'm working on in my photos page.
If any of you Raw Chef's would like to work with Kids and be featured in a future issue of the magazine let me know.

In case you don't know I have another blog that I joined in July. At that point I didn't have a lot of time as I was still healing from my accident that I had back in April. I'm still healing and my physio. is helping. Anyway to make a long story short, yesterday I did a Google search for my business name and my name to see if this blog and my other blog would show up somewhere on the long list. This blog did!
