Thanks for saying that!:-) I try not to allow others to make me skeptical and try to stay positive even when there are negative things going on around me. Actually, I haven't seen the Secret- I'll have to check it out!
I think if you buy the yerba mate loose then it is considered raw, right now mine are tea bags, so it's non-raw I think. But usually I just have 1 cup per day, so I figure that's still way better than drinking coffee like before. I make my milk from raw cashews, vanilla, cinnamon and dates and strain it, so that's pretty much all raw.
I live in Georgia, we usually get like 4 days tax free on school supplies which includes clothes, backpacks, office/school supplies- I just assumed everyone had tax free days- it's worth it if you buy lots of items.
Btw, I love your profile photo- very cute and artsy! Glad to be your friend :-)
Thank you for the lovely words. . . and welcome!
I'm admittedly not here much anymore but have been meaning to put some more recipes up at some point. . .
mmmmm snowboarding- my favourite winter activity (well besides curling up by the woodstove after playing in the snow). . . and when you say apple and mac addict, can i assume you are as much IN LOVE with your iphone as much as I am?! This amuses my friends to no end as I am so not a techy person!

Welcome MissMeissa :)
This is a super community where you'll find tons of great people and information. You mention wanting recipes, I have some posted on my blog that you might enjoy. Just do a search for "recipe" to bring up a bunch.
We have quite a bit in common, I noticed from your list of interests. I tried snowboarding for the first time last winter (was always a skier).
Just being curious again :P ...
There are so many unique people, with their own ways of eating.
Vegan, Vegetarian, Lacto-Vegetarian, Ova-Vegetarian, Fruititarian and Raw foodist are some of the many labels people define themselves or others.
What ...
"Fashionista's" simply look at Fashion as an Art, their own bodies as the canvas, and the sense of style they develop along the way is simply the masterpiece.
Yes I have also been known to have eyes bigger then my stomach...
I'm sure that your choice has brought you a lot more attention then you wanted and some attention you never wanted.
Life is just a series of mistakes. It's what we learn from them...
Thanks, Erin. Dang, I forgot to check Vitacost, which I just did--and I have been seeeeeriously overpaying for my essential sweets!
I have definitely made friends with stevia--it's like my new *best* friend now that I don't use any other sweetene...
