It is much cheaper, but I often miss everything there is to do in the city. Of course my friends who live in the city want to move out to where I live. Maybe we should trade houses every now and then. Get the best of both worlds.

The Hudson Valley is beautiful and it's also close enough to the city that I can make it down there when I need to.

- Curious, passionate, insightful, open, generous, charismatic....Raised in the midwest, educated in DC (Georgetown), and currently living in NYC, I was a serious foodie and wine aficionado before embarking on my journey towards optimal health. I have struggled with psoriasis for most of my life and was inspired to search deeper for holistic solutions after getting completely fed up with Western medicine and their disregard for addressing the root cause of the affliction. I have learned more than I ever could've imagined- not only about my health, but about my inner self and true essence as well....after all- as we all come to discover- it's not just about the food : )
I love the clarity that living raw offers and love connecting with the fabulous community of people who share in this journey. Love juice fasting and experimenting with all of the fabulous raw recipes out there!...was an avid cook and baker in my cooked food days and almost started my own gourmet cookie company so especially drawn to raw desserts ;-).... I feel blessed to be on this path and am continuously amazed by where it leads!

FINE & RAW chocolate at the Dumbo pop up market....
Just wanted to let my fellow NYC raw foodies know that Fine & Raw chocolates will be at the Brooklyn Flea in Dumbo this weekend (and the following), would love to see you all come out to try these AMAZING raw chocolate creations….These things are just insane, you simply must experience them to believe it. i don't post any recipes anywhere because i don't really use recipes. I don't cook very often either, just mono meals.

- hey, the recipe is major easy. Just put say 8oz or almond butter in the FP. ...with about 6oz of coconut oil. (if your almond butter has lots of added oil use less). process with some agave. You can put this in a container and freeze it for 30 mins or so. ...then u can add w/e like salt, cinnamon, goji's, buckwheat.

the thought of not brushing my teeth,i find repulsive...after so many teeth issues when i was a kid,up until i went low fat raw..im super diligent on the flossing and the gentle brushing....my gums dont bleed anymore either Debbie...
yeh,they totally rely on their natural instincts,something i am trying to get a firm grasp on in my own life...trusting my instincts and living my life this way,has worked so far :)
