I am trying to get more into the raw food lifestyle. I have been eating about an 80% raw food diet for the past 6 months and am hoping to bump up that percentage with motivation and support. Thats why im here :)
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
I would love good, easy raw food recipes, and alot of support!

Thanks for accepting the request! So how's life in the state of Washington? I have visited USa a few times but only got as high up as Oregon on the West Coast and loved it. Spent a fair bit of time at Mt Shasta in Northern California nd that was a pretty special place too. Have you ever visited New Zealand at all?

Some great people here and Bethanne is a GREAT resource!
Thrive is a yummy place to eat and Chaco Canyon is not entirely raw but you'll find some good things on the menu there too.
There is also a raw food store in Redmond called RawVegan source. You can find more links here;

Hi Michaela, thanks for actually taking the time to comment on my page instead of just passing over it :) So are you making headway at breaking out of the shell? What happened that made you realize it was time to wake up and smell the coffee??
hey thanks! i was feeling all weird and irritated today cause i just joined the Raw Models group and introduced myself and said that I wanted to be in playboy. The head of the group deleted my comments and said that she didn't want to "encourage modeling of the porographic nature that i am interested in". OMG! i was like what planet are you on where Playboy is porn? It is sooooo not and I am sooooo not interested in doing porn. I found it totally offensive. SO anyway, glad to hear that someone else loves it too! :) Love your sailor costume, btw.
Found this article online. Thought it was both interesting and amusing.

Hi Nicole,

How important is salt to the human diet? I never really added much salt to my meals (mainly pepper) before going raw but until recently I would of added himalayan salt to every raw salad over the past 9 months. I have been off it for around 2-3 we...
The smoke points are important for those people who are cooking with oils, but not those that are 100% raw foodists. Because I get many questions from those that are transtioning, I feel that it's important to answer some ot those questions also. ...
