I am really not much into fall fashion. I need to be in a warm climate year 'round I guess. However, I love jeans! Jeans jeans jeans! Oh yeah, I love the ankle boots too. Maybe some of you fashion divas can inspire me with some good fall ideas.

I have some in the freezer from last year and they taste great. I just rinsed them and froze them.

Thanks, do you wash them first or can you skip that part? I am thinking that they are so delicate, the less you mess with them the better off you are. I mean, as long as there isn't any bird doo-doo on them you should be ok, ;)

I have several mulberry trees that have berries that are getting ready to ripen. Any recommendations on the best way to preserve them? I am thinking about dehydrating them. Do I need to rinse them? Can I blend them up and dry them into a fruit lea...

Thank you, definitely a nice fruity snack! Dried pineapple is the best and those asian pears dried are yummy too!

Just realized that I entered the wrong link for dehydrated fruit / fruit leathers and wanted to make the correction. :) http://www.fruitfromwashington.com/Recipes/drying_fruit.htm

Homemade fruit leathers are awesome! http://simplyrecipes.com/recipes/how_to_make_fruit_leather/ nd if you have a dehydrator you can make a bunch of delicious fruit snacks.

Thanks! Yes car camping is a little easier and you usually have some sort of access to a grocer or know when you last chance to get groceries would be. The real challenge is backpacking because you need things that are lightweight and compact or s...

Hiya, I camped once early raw without preparation and it was a nightmare. The second time I was very prepared and took lots of things with me. In my cooler bag I put a jar of oil/vinegar/herb dressing and perhaps a seed pate to last the first day ...

I love camping and backpacking but I have never camped or backpacked raw before. Aside from granola and trail mix, does anyone know of any good recipes or ideas for lunch and dinner? Thanks!

Thanks so much! I will look for it next time I am at my Whole Foods.

You want to get a brand that comes in glass if possible, and amber glass being even better. Coconut oil is a fat, and fats will interact with plastic and leech it out. I'm using garden of life's coconut oil. It comes in glass. Can be found at who...

I do like the Violent Femmes but I think that is too pessimistic. Nihilistic hard driving folk.

Soft rock is soft, not driving rock, but soft gushy love songs, romantic, smooth..stuff you are embarrassed to admit you like. Stuff that makes you imagine you are swimming with sea horses, or hanging out on a rainbow with your love.

Did you just blend banana and vanilla? I made ice cream with banana and cacao nibs... it was really good.

Only because Suvine asked me to. I have almost no idea what qualifies as soft rock, but if most of the music here is any indication, that's probably because I don't actually like soft rock. For the most part. Does Queen qualify as soft rock? I ha...
