Day 2 Master Cleanse

Day 2 has been rough emotionally- My MIL (very passive agressive & always makes me out to be the monster just like my family does-somehow I draw abusive people) told my husband to remind me of something that I had already discussed with her and told her I would handle it. Instead of calling me, emailing me or messaging me on FB, she always puts my husband in the middle causing me and him to argue. I'm so sick of her passive aggressive behavior- I totally went off on her today and let her kno… Continue

Day 1 Master Cleanse!

Okay, so today is Day 1 of the Master Cleanse- I couldn't start the MC over the weekend because from Friday through Monday I've had to help Frederick and my husband on the hardi-plank siding & yard work. I did eat tons of raw organic salads, organic romaine, organic miso, fresh pressed juices, raw fruits, etc. before this MC- so I was a good week or more into raw before so that the cleanse isn't too harsh on my body.

Had my first MC drink around 11:00- need to research to see how often I dr… Continue

My plan for the Master Cleanse

Okay so I figured that it would be a great idea to write out a plan while I am on the MC so I don't get sidetracked and I can come back on here and read this post and be motivated to go through with this (thanks Michelle for the idea).

My plan is to do the MC for 4-5 days and maybe more (I would love to do 10 days!) depending on how I feel and how well the cleanse goes. I plan on drinking some organic yerba mate during the cleanse as well to help with the hunger/cravings.

Day 1 Raw

Okay, so today I start my journey back to raw foods! I'm very excited to see the changes raw brings, I've done raw before for long periods of time- 1 year and I felt so awesome at that point. I'm ready to lose this weight and start looking and feeling better! Last night I took an hour long salt bath to detox and gave myself a facial scrub & detox mask. So here goes!

Breakfast- 1/2 cup organic coffee (I'm eliminating it slowly) w/organic cream & organic sugar, 2 Navel oranges, 1/2 cup fr… Continue

It's really difficult when the people who are closest to you do not support you.
I'm sure you're in a completely different situation, but the thing that I can look forward to now is moving out when I graduate. Which is of course not a responsible thing to do, with respect to keeping up good relations with your parents. But I think that when certain people bring you to a point of misery where you feel PHYSICAL suffering, that then you really need to do something!

But the question is "what?" indeed...

Oh... I see you're doing the master cleanse... Good luck, I hope it works out for you better than it did for me... (I went on to binge :(...)

And good luck with the family thing (I've been having family crises lately too, so I know how rough that can be)

All the best!

ive done the master cleanse a few times before. the first few days are the most challenging, after about the third day, itll be a breeze :) of course, you can go out in public. although, you might be dealing with some detox symptoms and might feel a little more inward and contemplative-that's how i feel when i do it. let me know how the first day goes for you and ill update you tomorrow when ive started! yay!

oooohhhhh crumble! i LOVE crumble! I make a cobbler thing with mashed banana at the bottom, so its a little like custard, sliced apple in the middle, and then sprinkle some soaked seeds and nuts on top. Its yummy. OMG, banana pudding is my fave! You can do so much with banana, its like my very own super food! i love it with melted coconut oil, cacao powder, raisins and goji berries. So its warm, gooey and amazingly delish!

whats you fave banana pudding? x

they gossip about which teams are going to trade or sign star players. Most of it is bullshit. They just create rumors to sell papers / get hits. Still I eat it up.

Hi agree with Erin, everything she suggested is very similiar to wha ti have found. I am also seeing an accupuncturist and realize that we actually need cooked foods in our diet to support the spleen. Healing with whole foods is a great start..

I've been doing some "research" on ear candling, and have found three different reports: 1) it's great, feels great, and really helps to clear out the sinuses/lymphs 2) it feels great, but that's just the warmth and it doesn't actually do anything...
