This group aims to create a support network for all health conscious living in Europe and especially for all Europeans who are in need of support as for many of us there is no immediate support among family, friends, and in the immediate community.
A curious creature with a contagiously positive outlook on life. Well grounded I soar high to reach for dreams. I love to sink my teeth into juicy projects, always ready to help others.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
To have a group of like minded people share, laugh, have fun, ... just be myself with.
GI2MR Oath: I promise to do my best to keep this community drama free. I will not name call or throw around personal attacks. I pledge to be respectful even if I do not agree with another member's opinion. When possible, I'll try to smile : )
I am not yet in London, we are moving next week. Wrapping up and cleaning up.....so tired for the wrong food choices....but it is so cold ! Good to hear from you, Catja
Hi again Mei - thanks for joining the group! I can't believe how quickly this has come round - still so much to sort out and work is the busiest it's been all year - typical! Anyway, I will be arriving on the Saturday night - I have day 1 of a new one year nutritional course starting that day and so will be driving from Brighton (on the south coast and a great area for raw foodists as it happens) to Cambridge which will take about 2-3 hours and the classes finish at 5.00pm, so should be there between 8-9pm - just in time to say hello to everyone and then go to bed! I'm sure we will all be so excited that we will not want to sleep! Looking forward to meeting you in person...Amanda
Congratulations Mei - you must be soo excited - I know I am! I have set up a group for the October trainees as I thought it would be fun to get to know each other a little before we get there so we are not complete strangers! I have sent you an invite and hope you join..I also thought that it would be helpful afterwards in that we can have it as a forum to keep in touch via this website.
Hi Mei - I noted from a comment you left on Karen's page that you have a call with her on Friday - is this to do with the coach training? If so, I wish you a great call and hope to see you in October....! Would be great to meet you in person..namaste, Amanda
Thankyou for your kindness. Unfortunately I can't go to Belgium this summer. I was going with a group, but I didn't have enough money saved up so they had to drop me and go ahead and buy the tickets. They wanted to go right after school was out, but next summer I'm going to Japan to study Japanese there for two years. I'm really excited about that. I'm glad I will be able to follow my dream and become a Japanese translator. Well I'll talk to you later. Maybe someday I will be able to visit Belgium.

So, I ate some (too unripe) pineapple and it "ate" some of me. Sore lips, chapped mouth corners, slightly sensitive/swollen tongue. Anyone know of good remedies for these conditions? Was thinking I should avoid stretching and licking my lips, and ...
This book is written by a Yogi of India, He recorded so many magical and miracle experiences and encounters that he came across in his life in India, this book talks about the so many things few of them are:

P.S. I have a hard time sleeping without some nightcap food too. I was addicted to bananas and almond butter before bed, but I'm trying to phase it out by freezing bananas in the morning and then making raw ice cream at night.
Banana peach coconut smoothie for breakfast, then
3 Collard wraps with spicy mango salsa, avocado, onion, cilantro, sprouts, and sauteed portabello mushroom. Amazing.
Now I'm contemplating dinner. Might treat myself to Que Seraw Seraw in Burlinga...
P.S. Yogi, When my body is in an unwanted condition like ill or overwhelmed I also ask it "What do you need to get well or fix that condition?" Watch closely for it's FIRST THOUGHT and don't invalidate it. Then do whatever you please of course-you...
hi stacey,
I was doing Hatha Yoga, that involves asanas, prayanama, bandha and mudras.
Apart from yoga we were taught Anatomy, Psychology, Philosophy etc., so that the students of this course could teach yoga and take it as a profession later.
I had a green juice (Celery, Cilantro, Parsley, Apple, Ginger, Fennel, Chard)
And a massive salad with wild caught sardine.
Coconut leek cilantro and lime soup
Might have a coconut kefir smoothie in a hour or two
