I have just three questions for everyone, because these are topics that seem taboo, out of politeness or what I'm not sure:
(1) Whatever happened to "Jungle Janie" of Hawaii somewhere - she thought she was thriving on fruit but faded away to noth...
Hi RGG - LOVE your new photo, you look amazing - can actually SEE your new regime is doing great things for you, just as you say you are feeling it doing you good!
Exactly, John; and Lockheart I know you USAmericans are terrified of ever saying soldiers are bad people - but we in the free world don't have those fears, we are free to criticise our own soldiers if they do the wrong thing - US soldiers know ful...
Just saw a notice in my gym saying it was "pink ribbon day" next week - there usually seem to be a lof "pink" events for breast cancer awareness + fund-raising each year, and the shocking thing is that, about the only healthy activity is a walk! S...
In regards to your reply, absolutely fascinating ....
I had a similar problem with Green Smoothies ... I literally went from quite healthy non-vegetarian, non-raw where I had really no symptoms and good energy, into this Green Smoothie and 811 bonanza ... and wowser's it really did me wrong.
It definitely wasn't detox, rather the symptoms just gradually got worse ... dry itchy skin, tiredness, even an antsy-ness where I couldn't sit still because I was always bothered by relestness, also bad sinus congestion in conjunction with poor sleep.
Strangely, it seems that lots of salt + more moderate meals often including bread and other cooked foods has pretty much made the problem disappear.
For awhile, I was getting stiff joints too, especially my neck and shoulders, but it seems that eating a super salty diet (usually just Celtic Sea Salt that I add, not normal table salt) made that quickly resolve itself too.
It was a wild ordeal ..., like I really appreciate being "normal" now ... LOL. It's funny cause before I went raw, I thought going raw would turn me into some super-man type super healthy human. Now, I swear I just appreciate being normal ... for however long that will last. ;-P
Hi Meadow,
With the help of your doctors, you have been misinterpreting your symptoms, and if you continue to do that you will never find the level of health you want. Symptoms can be signs of degeneration, but degeneration does not happen while you are making positive changes to your diet and lifestyle! Doctors do not realize this. They are not taught this in their training! Symptoms are experienced in raw fooders as stored wastes are eliminated from the body. Is this not something a person should realize when trying to understand what to do in response to symptoms? Do you see how not knowing this important fact could cause a person to remain sick, and in the custody of doctors? I went through many symptoms I could have misinterpreted as degeneration during my transition, and so did every successful long-term raw fooder, especially those of us who waited until "mid life" to go raw. But I knew the truth and responded properly, and my health has continued to climb.
I can help you. This is not an attempt to drum up coaching business. I will do it at no cost to you. You need someone to help you de-program your mind of medical propaganda and teach you the principles of health. If you don't do this, you will never be well. Feel free to contact me through my website (www.RawSchool.com) or by email: nmlenz@speakeasy.net.
Best regards,
Nora

There is a great fruit wholesaler in town, specializing in Local, organic fruit actually.
All I need is a few people, a car and one willing person to go up there with me at some unholy hour (they close at 9am) once a week and it's beautiful fruit ...
