Living the raw food lifestyle gives everyone who embarks this path an abundance of energy! And what is the best thing to do with all of this energy? Move, of course! Post and support one another about your fitness. Lets get motivated to move more!

Profile Information

About Me:
I have been a raw food vegan for 7 months, and a vegan for a year prior. I've been doing yoga since the age of 10. I became a certified yoga instructor at the age of 16. Now, at 17, I am delving into the field of raw food nutrition. I aspire to own my own organic sustainable farm and build a raw food restaurant there. I live right outside of NYC and am constantly finding myself going there to try out raw food restaurants, frequent Liquiteria, and more recently venturing into the world of colon-hydrotherapy.

ALSO: I am currently at Pangaia, a permaculture raw food friendly farm in Pahoa, Hawaii.

it keeps getting better! :-)

I love writing poetry, its such an amazing outlet of my emotions! It reflects how I am feeling in an aritistic and more easily palatable way.

When I first started posting blogs about a week ago I had written this poem:

old intentions collecting dust
i meant well, truly truly.
fighting barriers
emotional and all

i voiced my pain
support was well recieved
i felt love, truly truly
only temporary

i took comfort
in short lived satisfaction
i began feeling stagnant
im alone now, truly truly

Doing a little bit of cleaning...

I absolutely love this analogy:

You need to clean up the old to make room for the new.

This is true about a lot of things. Even with raw food. Like going raw is awesome, but sometimes people get sick because all of this new and vibrant food is colliding with old, toxic food that has been fermenting in their intestines. So in order to feel vibrant, some people cleanse, others wait it out. Either way, the feeling spectacular comes after one is cleaner, and can truly absorb the new amazing food.… Continue

I am going strong!

I wanted to kinda follow up on my previous post and let everyone know that I am going strong, and I am feeling better already! I have been honest with the people around me, and they have been soo kind and suportive of my struggles.

I have been stabilizing my eating patterns, and have gained some major energy! I have been bike riding daily with my sister, and have been truly happy! :-)

Every so often I have had urges to purge, but I just stop myself and tell myself "I deserve beauty, I deserve… Continue

Thanks so much! ^_^
I've been interested in veganism and raw veganism for a while now. I decided this month I'd try to go 30 days as a raw vegan to see. I'm on day 17 right now actually. So I'm super new to raw foods but I'm amazed at how big and supportive the raw community online is! ^_^

I'm doing good... Just officially graduated so I am *really* happy. But other than that, life has been pretty slow lately. How about you?

Sounds good that you told you sister about what's been going on. Telling the truth is always a good thing. And I guess also being patient with yourself is another good thing. I am not doing the perfect thing all the time, but yet I am always perfect... Life is about really knowing that I guess.
take care!
