I'm wondering about eating raw food while trying to eat locally in BC. It's tricky to find foods to eat when oranges, bananas and tomatoes are out of the question. I live right in the hub of local farms so we have tons of concord grapes and pumpkins. I'm wondering if anyone out there has sustained a raw diet based on local foods. Are imported foods not too cooling for the system when the climate provides other foods seasonally? Should I just purchase imported foods?
