I am a graduate student in engineering, entering the real world in May, hopefully into renewable energy! I just began the Raw Food weightloss program with Angela Stokes and although I don't think I am going to go 100% raw, I would like be about 80%.

I would love to have potluck meet ups in Philadelpia to get to talk with some other people who are doing this. I think my friends think I'm crazy!

I live in Phoenixville and would love to participate in a potluck. And if you're ever out this way (Chester County), there's an awesome juice bar and cafe in Frazer/Malvern called Oasis I could take you to. Hope you're having a blast this weekend!
I hope your wish comes true, my friend. I am glad I am not living in cold weather. That's for sure. See if you could find job placement in Hawaii after you graduate. That would be an awesome goal to achieve!
Great idea to start raw food pot lucks! At one time I was hosting raw food dinner parties almost every Saturday night. Just this month the meetup pot lucks were cancelled so I am starting my own. Saturday is my first one and I will be giving a class on raw food 101, the raw food version of the ayurvedic diet, simple recipe ideas, making Sauerkraut and sprouting, opening and enjoying Coconut Sprouts.
Gabreil Cousens MD the 100% Raw Doctor and #1 RAW Expert in my opinion states that for most people 80% Raw Organic and 20% Organic Cooked is most optimal for most people!
That sounds like fun.. There is a thing called double dutch where two girls hold two ropes and you have to jump them both at the same time.. maybe you could find a couple of girls to try this with you. It's pretty impressive when you see it..
