- About Me:
- I have been on a high raw diet for about 2 years now. Initially choosing to increase raw foods as a means to lose weight, I decided to learn more about health and nutrition. I have lost over 125 pounds so far and changed my entire life. I realize now that I never really understood food before and to be honest placed too much emphasis on my physical appearance and the idea of perfection I had in my mind. Through this I have coined the term the "Perfection Perception" which helped me to understand how much I undervalued myself based on what the scale had to say, what society had to say. I now understand that perfection is simply this - PERCEPTION. Changing perception and accepting ourselves is so much more important than a number on the scale. I no longer define myself by that number so what initially may have been a step based in vanity has become a lifestyle grounded in self awareness and growth. I am happy to share what I know and learn from all of you. I currently work with my good friend Daniel Vitalis as the "Goddess-Istant" of ElixirCraft.
- How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
- For me the community is an outlet for me to share on a personal level with others about my journey and to hear about theirs. I like to take the attitude of listen, learn and teach. It is a beautiful cycle to be shared! I am here to give and receive moral support from the community!

Did you go to a reliable restaurant? Not all restaurants know how to properly handle fish. Most are frozen,thawed & refreeze what wasn't use. Can also be both. Maybe since you haven't had it in a while you body responded in a certain way.

So I've been vegan for about a week now and vegetarian for a little while longer, but last night I went out with my friends and stupidly had some fish at dinner.
