I have a friend who is a vegan personal trainer (not raw though) and recommends taking in "slow digesting" protein before bed. This will take longer to metabolize and feed your muscles through the night. He recommended having a hemp protein shake ...
creatine works by pushing out your fatigue threshold. it does work but i have hard of kidney damage in large doses so be mindful of it.
are you trying to build muscle?
^truth. my post workout meals tend to be a bunch of bananas and a coconut water.
i probably run through a bunch of bananas a day.
avocado is great for building muscle - precisely because of the good fats and because they are calorically dense.
If I could chime in this one. I do agree with post workout smoothie, however, I know for me the one before bed can keep me awake. I tend just to have whole hemp hearts and water before bed, if I feel I need it. One of my fav recipies for protein b...
I'm kinda shy but can be a big ball of energy when you get to know me. I love being vegan and eating raw food. Bananas, avocado, and dates OH MY! I love animals, believe organic farming is essential for the health of our earth, want to help fight world poverty, and believe that education is one of the solutions to most of our worlds problems. I like to spend my time exploring outdoors and feeling the sunshine on my back, reading, making raw food, doing yoga, drawing and finding ways to better myself.

Hi Kristy! Just wanted to address the concern you posted in the Raw Body Image group. I started a thread for it but then it occurred to me that it wouldn't notify you about the thread and you might never read it, so here it is http://www.giveittomeraw.com/group/rawbodyimage/forum/topic/show?id=1407416%3ATopic%3A526930
I came across your page just before leaving for Sedona a couple wks ago for Raw Spirit, and am so happy I did! I eat bananas, avocados, and dates almost daily but never together. It was the perfect road-trip meal, we had it every single day, and thank you for putting it out there! Can't believe I hadn't thought to mash em up together. Thx!
I do think anthropology is a good major for premeds. In fact, anything not science related is a good choice because it broadens your perspective making you a more interesting person. In my opinion, its not worth sacrificing your individuality so you can have the upper hand once you get here. They'll teach you everything you need to know so it will all work out in the end.
And I totally think that anthropology specifically is a good choice! Diseases don't occur in vacuums. You have to consider the context in which they occur and I think anthro is good at preparing you to do that. Sorry about the late reply. (It goes without saying that I'm pretty busy :)
Hey Kristy,
It's good to hear that there is another future raw doctor out there. As for the classes you should take, I would just recommend taking the ones that medical schools require if your major doesn't already cover them all (that's what I did. My actual major was anthropology). The only subject I wish I had more of a background in coming into school though was biochem. How far along are you?

Try this Doreen. I found out about it when I worked at Jubbs longevity. There is absolutely no aftertaste and a bottle lasts forever. I've been using it for years. Lucky Vitamin has amazing prices on many things too.

Careless whispers, have you ever seen the video, and tell me you didnt feel sad, that he lost forever his love for his one night of wickedness with that she wolf??
And they are raw?? I feel like I have seen them at TJ's but for some reason I did not think they were raw. This is exciting. That sounds so good right now.
I was at my friends
tonight and she had a pack and I opened one up with a nutcracker, omg. Is it a nut? Its so meaty and you don't have to cook or boil. I was so happy. I took them with me to my new house and I love them.
Have you ever??
