I don't use deodorant. After going raw, i've found that i don't produce much body odor. I use dr. bronners soaps. tea tree and rose oil are my favorite. I use tom's toothpaste, and fruit of the earth moisturizer.

I've lived in Austin, Tx my whole life. I went vegetarian in '07 and vegan less than a year later. I experimented with raw veganism, but it didn't feel right until I recently went raw in April 09. I sew prosthetic heart valves at On-X life Technologies, and I am a part time art student. I've always had a huge compassion for nature and all living things, and going raw has made that love even more intense. I eat mostly fruits and huge salads. Eventually, I want to be Fruitarian. My absolute favorite thing is to be surrounded by nature with no buildings or powerlines in sight. :] I love traveling on foot. I walk everywhere, and I'm proud that I don't own a car.

Hi Kristin,
thanks for the comment & support. It's so funny you live in Austin, I just moved from there in June to Columbus, GA. Having an uber hard time here w/ the organic scene b/c there is very little local organic produce or even in the stores~ the tat I got @ Tru Blu tattoo. My artist's name is Rachel & she is amazing! It's a Ram surrounded by wild flowers and an enclosure design, I'll try & post a close up for you!
I was thinking about sending the invite out to all my friends. I have a Founders Pass, means I can take a friend to any YY class I attend, for free!! Such a deal, my pass is good through end of Dec., then I'm an ordinary citizen again. Anyway, these days I mostly go to North (Anderson/Burnet) for 6pm Kundalini class - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, BUT there's new schedule beg. Sept. And I MAY go to Northwest (your area) more often, then again, who knows? Anyway, I don't mind if you call to check (947-6350). Last week, I mostly practiced at home and didn't take many classes - some weeks I go each day! Have a great day! YB
Yeah, cuz he's making money. You look muy mellow. Kristina love the fruity things!! I hereby accept your friendship, and invite you to any class at YogaYoga that I attend (free), if another friend has not beat you to it. I usually go to Kundalini at North (Anderson/Burnet) at 6pm. Bye, luv, and thanks!

Hello Rene,
With differing health opinions out there, I find it difficult to decide which health choices are best for my family. However, I do feel blessed I came across the R...
Hi Lee, I agree with you in many ways and would have said an unreserved yes to your statement before I tried raw vegan eating. Maybe it is different for different people, but I have been totally surprised at how much what I eat has been affecting ...
Soaking might help, I really don't know for sure. My father eats soaked dried chestnuts. The dried ones are really hard and they get a little bit softer when soaking them, but they are'nt as sweet soaked.
recently i have come to believe i may (not fully sure) have candida. mainly for the following reasons: after any cooked meal that is high in startches like say risotto the next day my head is so fuzzy and i think it may be even hungover or drunk. ...
This is what my mom recommends too. The thing is I live in a high-rise building in NYC, so I'm definetely not "grounded".
The grounding bed technology makes sense, but it doesn't feel natural to me. Has anyone tried it? Did you notice any changes...
So here is the deal... I have been running since Jan 2009 and doing this 8/1/1 thing (trying to be 100% but not yet) I am running in the California International Marathon Dec 6th and training is going fine running 2 to 4 times off and on a week fo...
