Have been experimenting with raw/living foods for almost 3 years now. Feel most balanced when eating more greens and less nuts and fruits (although I do love my nutmylks). Love playing in the kitchen and trying new raw recipes.
Am blessed to have a sister who lives on an organic farm so get lots of veges from her.
First raw coach was Karen Knowler.
Have qualifications in sports nutrition, herbal medicine, reiki, fitness management. Still love to read and learn.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
Resources for all things raw in NZ would be fabulous.
Any info you can share on Hippocrates Health Instit. if you have attended would also be appreciated.
Any local potlucks?
If you just want to connect and share that would be great too :-)

I am off to the Sunshine Coast of Australia in a couple of days time to soak up the sunshine, have lots of fun (might even take a surfing lesson :-0) and enjoy a change of scenery. I am wondering if any of you Aussies out there are able to direct me to any juicebars, wholefood markets or raw food cafes??? I will be in Maroochydore and Noosa. Anything you have to share would be truly appreciated. Love Chris xx
yes, i believe so... I have been taking it ever since I wrote the post.. now my hair just sheds a little bit (normal I think) and I have noticed regrowth.... just little hairs growing!! So it's pretty exciting, I have also added more fats and proteins into my diet too... and I am still eating a lot of greens.
Hi Chris. I haven't taught over the internet before. But if I ever decide to, I will certainly post and advertise it. I am creating food demos to publish on youtube. If you are interested, I'll let you know when they become available.
Thank you for the interest and have a great day. :)

Ya, I think Canadians love NZ as much as NZers love Canada :) I havn't met too many raw foodies here in Auckland but the number is slowly growing. I am attending a Naturopathic college here and there are a few who have caught onto it. How is it in Wellington? p.s. I LOVE it there! My boyfriend grew up there too. Is there are growing raw community yet?

Hey Chris! :)
Great to hear from you and thanks heaps for the heads up on that book! I will definitely check it out and I will definitely keep up the blogging on my garden adventures!
By the way, I love your taste in books! I own Ask and it is given, + the power of now by Eckhart Tolle (which I will be reading very soon, when I feel magnetized to it :)
So are you living in WGTN at the moment? If so, I'm thinking a raw potluck should be on the menu very soon! :) Hope you are fantastically amazingly wonderful!
Hi Chris
Good to meet you :0)
Have a great time in australia. I was in sydney recently with my daughter and there are a number of juice bars - a big chain is Boost Juice. Sorry, I don't have any experience of the sunshine coast but have a great time. I visited NZ also a few years ago and loved it. amazingly diverse habitats and so much space:)
Here in the UK the last 2 days have been v sunny and beautiful. had a b'day party for Jana (my daughter) yesterday with raw chocolate cake and ice cream and raw jelly - great fun.
be well

I just looked up the Magic Bullet on youtube and it had a ton of bad reviews lol.
I think I'll save up a little more and get a blender/food processor combo. Is 750 watts good? I have one already I got from my Granddad and it's really old and 600 ...
Go Germany! I'm no longer working with The LifeCo & Saf in Muc, or organising events, workshops & talks in Muc, as I am abroad. I still consult clients & can provide your fave superfoods. My RawCacaoLove chocolate can be ordered through me directly.
Sorry... I had to look it up.
Sauce Recipe:
2 tbls Olive Oil
1/2 cup chopped tomato
1/2 cup sun dried tomato's
1/2 cup red pepper
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp garlic
dash of salt
I got it out of Raw Food Made Easy by Jennifer Co...
I'm serious, just go to the grocery store, buy all kinds of celery, kale, cucumbers, carrots, and whatever else you want, and juice is all and only drink juices for as long as you can!
It feels so good, I can't even describe how amazing I feel ri...
my magic bullet burnt out, it was good for travelling while I had it though. Can you get a second hand blender? The cheaper ones I have used don't chop up the greens as well. Try to get something with a higher wattage, like 1000watt.
