I am interested in vibrancy, inside and outside. I am doing a lot of Soul work.
I am interested in learning and combining ancestral knowlege with my own experiences and experiments. Mostly Andean and Amazonian traditions, but also love the Ayurvedic philosophy and and curious about all the information all over the world that is mostly word of mouth. The art of the science of living.
I am trying to cultivate awareness in everything I do. Vibrant foods is one part of the many. I never ate a SAD diet, I was brought up on organic vegan macrobiotic food, and was even raw as a child. I believe in the healing power of living foods, though as maintenance eating only raw throws my body out of balance, so now I eat a high amount of fresh living food. In theory I will eat animal foods as medicine, though it is hard for me because I was brought up differrently. Food from the sea is the most nurtuting for me.
I am also a vegetalista, and am learning how much plants can teach us.

Hi Lee, I agree with you in many ways and would have said an unreserved yes to your statement before I tried raw vegan eating. Maybe it is different for different people, but I have been totally surprised at how much what I eat has been affecting ...
Soaking might help, I really don't know for sure. My father eats soaked dried chestnuts. The dried ones are really hard and they get a little bit softer when soaking them, but they are'nt as sweet soaked.
recently i have come to believe i may (not fully sure) have candida. mainly for the following reasons: after any cooked meal that is high in startches like say risotto the next day my head is so fuzzy and i think it may be even hungover or drunk. ...
This is what my mom recommends too. The thing is I live in a high-rise building in NYC, so I'm definetely not "grounded".
The grounding bed technology makes sense, but it doesn't feel natural to me. Has anyone tried it? Did you notice any changes...
