Hi, I'm a yoga teacher and food coach in Germany (near Frankfurt). I've been living on 80% raw food since beginning 2008 and since march 2009 I'm on 100% raw, which makes a big difference to me. I currently organize raw food dinners and teach people how to prepare raw meals.
I love the raw food life style because it gives me energy, joy and connection.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
I'm looking for information on anything connected to raw food , especially on nutrition and the effects of live food on physical and mental health.

Hi Katja! Great to "meet" you. Thank you for the friend add :). That's so wonderful that you are a yoga teacher! I have been wanting to get into yoga for some time now... I know it would be very beneficial and balancing for me.

leider habe ich, was den bereich indisches raw food angeht, noch nicht wirklich viel erfahrungen ... ich kann zwar indisch kochen, aber das "nicht-kochen" beherrsche ich noch nicht so wirklich gut, bin auch noch relativ jung auf dem gebiet ... :-) habe mich gegen ende letzten jahres in richtung raw food geschlagen und erst seit 1. märz bin ich auf 100% raw food. insofern muß ich selbst noch sehr viel lernen ... :-))

I had a kale salad (an entire bunch's worth), a green smoothie that filled the entire Vitamix, and a slice of raw raspberry cake that I got from Rockin Raw, a restaurant here in NYC. I wanted to make a green juice but I didn't have the time.
food combining well is super important Callie...
maybe leave having any raw fats til your evening meal and only have one raw fat at a time,and dont combine it with any fruit...
fruits and greens together go beautifully...
however banana and avo...

Here's what I had:
Green Juice (cucmber, kale, celery, lemon, green apple)
2 apples
banana
lots of carrots
humongeous salad with raw dressing
2 soy/gluten free veggie buegers--cooked :...

i add in heaps of greens Erin...and protein powder when i feel i 'need' it...i was having it daily now im not drawn to it at all...just going with the flow....great how we can share our different experiences hey?
