Totally great place, it's at Spadina and Dupont I'm sure you know..there's also RAWLICIOUS on Dundas west of Keele, near Crema Coffee? Both places a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for! Live has more options as far as desserts go especiall...
Awesome! There's somewhat of a raw community in Cambridge as well, which is not too far from Brantford. There is someone who was doing a monthly raw food potluck in Cambridge last year, but I'll have to e-mail her and see if she's still doing them.
Thanks. I've got my fingers crossed. They are very picky eaters, but my husband does dig my brownies.
I'm working on the book and tank ideas.

Oh yeah. You must mean the smoothie. I couldn't tell you measurements, since I just start tossing things in the blender, but I can give you a list of what's in it.
I put my greens of choice (and I used a lot), as well as some frozen bananas, cocoa powder or raw cacao powder/nibs (whichever you have on-hand), an orange, raw cocoa or coconut butter (makes it creamy and thick), maca (not necessary, but I like it), lucuma (for extra sweetness), sea salt, pumpkin pie spice and cayenne pepper. It also tastes good with some cilantro.
I got the idea from those chocolate oranges and Mexican hot chocolate. I thought, hey, why not combine the two.

I checked out your blog again. How did I know it was going to be about sugar again? You can beat those cravings. I have faith in you. I'm here for support.
I've actually been thinking about the recipe book idea, especially since it was suggested to me to do one called "Just Rawify It." I just need to get up the confidence and a larger demand.

Haven't heard much from you lately. Hope all is well. Did your family enjoy your holiday? I love the birthday pic on your site. No wonder our society is so addicted to sugar :-)

So, I ate some (too unripe) pineapple and it "ate" some of me. Sore lips, chapped mouth corners, slightly sensitive/swollen tongue. Anyone know of good remedies for these conditions? Was thinking I should avoid stretching and licking my lips, and ...

P.S. I have a hard time sleeping without some nightcap food too. I was addicted to bananas and almond butter before bed, but I'm trying to phase it out by freezing bananas in the morning and then making raw ice cream at night.
Banana peach coconut smoothie for breakfast, then
3 Collard wraps with spicy mango salsa, avocado, onion, cilantro, sprouts, and sauteed portabello mushroom. Amazing.
Now I'm contemplating dinner. Might treat myself to Que Seraw Seraw in Burlinga...

hi stacey,
I was doing Hatha Yoga, that involves asanas, prayanama, bandha and mudras.
Apart from yoga we were taught Anatomy, Psychology, Philosophy etc., so that the students of this course could teach yoga and take it as a profession later.
I had a green juice (Celery, Cilantro, Parsley, Apple, Ginger, Fennel, Chard)
And a massive salad with wild caught sardine.
Coconut leek cilantro and lime soup
Might have a coconut kefir smoothie in a hour or two
