Sorry I never got back to you about wild edibles in Hawaii. I was in fact in the process of getting my things ready to move back to the mainland, so I haven't checked my page until today. I am in Calgary, Alberta right now...what a shocker from Hawaii. So how was Pele Rising? Mucusless diet book is a bit one sided and pretty old. There is much better books.
i'm not sure if these things in the rainforest near my house are turkeys. they might be scrub hens. but i call them scrub turkeys.
