Wouldn't it be handy to be able to make really good raw nut butter! :-) judy

I don't know... i have one of these myself and i was just reading the manual yesterday. It says not to put stale bread in if it's totally hardened, so it may not be able to take nuts and seeds as well

If it works I'd like to know too!

I've not made nut butter that I like yet in a food processor or tough juicer or Vitamix, without adding quite a lot of oil. I've got a Kitchenaid mixer which I was about to sell now I don't make baked goods when I spotted it has an icecream maker ...

I don't drink wheatgrass for the taste but because it's such a good tonic and detox-helper. I just drink it quickly and get it over with. It's got easier with time but at first I had to have a little treat lined up to have straight afterwards, a d...

Glazzies, I love that term!
Thanks for the info. I did opt to buy the pre-grown ones from aconbury but it costs more to deliver than to buy the darn things!

I Judy, I'm wanting to get more sprouts in to me. Where do you buy your seeds from? Are they organic ones? Are you planning on doing a sprouty workshop? Perhaps you could do a demo at a future potluck?

Yes, you are so right. When I first came home from hospital I had to rely on my non raw, stodge loving husband for food and it shocked me how quickly I settled into that groove again....I'm now working on increasing the raw and keeping the cooked food to simple veggie/vegan fare.
Look forward to meeting you and maybe sampling those raw Thai sauces?!
