Peanut, actually, I was referring to what people call green smoothies, where they mix greens and fruit in a blender! The green juices are actually great and healthy because the fiber is taken out thus all you are getting is the juice extracted, Yo...

Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to write this. I have had many questions, and appreciate you making it far simpler than most. I find my digestive system to be subpar at the moment, juicing has been helping combined with aloe vera gel an...
I've been eating raw for quite some time now, it has been quite an interesting journey, and I have found it has been nothing short of just that; a beautiful journey.
I have been very blessed to have found the best teachers, or should I say they have found me, either way I have been extremely lucky.
In my path I realized there is not one method or dogma that works across the board for everbody and every BODY is different.
The key is to establish where you are and embrace it.
100% raw is not for everyone. Transition is the key.
Understanding your previous health choices and how they affect you is highly important as well. 100% raw is not always the best bet, in fact I am finding all raw actually is not even the healthiest of options as I previously had believed.
When one comes from a place of titles, percentages and comparisons true growth, health and vitality is not able to flourish as it is meant to.
If you compare yourself to another, where you were to where you currently are, or where you wish to be, the message of health and vitality can often get lost in translation from it's core purpose. Enjoyment.
Enjoyment in your body, exactly as it is, that is a gift in and of itself.
May your journey bring you to a life complete with un paralelled enjoyment.
Namaste.

I wanted to run a question by you. After reading your profile I was curious as to why you came to feel that 100% raw is not neccessarily the healthiest option and what cooked foods do you feel are more beneficial in their cooked state. It seems like you have a lot of experience being raw and I am curious to know what brought you to this conclusion. I myself have been 100% raw for about 2 years now and would love to hear your views on this subject if you ever have some time. Namaste.
Thanks for commenting on my blog. I found what you typed to be insightful. I look forward to what more you may have to contribute in my future blogs. Right now its eye candy :O
thanks so much for stopping by and reading my blog articles! yes, i really like incorporating a green superfood blend into my routine for added nutrients. i find it's a good alternative to multi-vitamins :-)
hi jessica, i've been following your posts a bit because i noticed that you seem very familiar with natalia rose's work. if you dont mind me asking, whats your diet like and what was your transition like? her stuff has been a huge help to me, i'm doing her "detox for women" program from the recording on her website. are you familiar with it? i've been on and off 100% raw but fortunately i'm not too stressed about being 100% anymore. i AM still eating quite a bit of cooked food in the form of veggies, eggs, fish and chicken on salads when i go out. but i also eat loads of raw veggies and green juice. do you think its too much to do a colonic a week eating this way?
Thanks Jessica for those kind words! Your profile words are real insightful and having yo-yoed from SAD depression to strict raw and back into the mire again - chilled raw is more my speed at the moment. If I need to take vitamins, I will. If circumstances mean I have to opt for cooked vegan (whole foods) then I won't beat myself up for it and so on. I was looking for inspiration, support etc and you know what... I think I just found it!
Thank you Jessica. Yes, we certainly do need to stick together. R U still in NY? We are moving back to Cali via my hubby's home town NY in March from Ireland.
Thank you for your kind words! You are the part of the reason I joined this community, because I need people like you to help motivate me, often I have no idea what to do. I most definitely have not been a raw vegan these past few days, but I’ve been working on being more optimistic, and I’m starting to catch myself! Hmmm…I think all the reasons you stated as to why I wanted to wear skinny jeans and flats are reasons I HAVE wanted to wear them. I want to feel confident, I want it to radiate! But like you said, that comes from me, and not my outward appearance. My mom is really into (one of?) Natalia’s books, so I knew just who I wrote the blog post! I hope to read the book soon if I can, I’ve only skimmed it. Do you follow a lot of her ideas/recipes? I'll try to update a blog post soon, maybe reasons why I want to be raw vegan. Is your profile picture a picture of your recent modeling? I'm not sure why, I have many odd dreams, but I've always thought it would be exciting to model. I wouldn't dare do it now, because I would rather be confident in my skin than have someone tell me I needed to lose weight. Thank you so much!
Originally attracted to your profile by your profile image (I found the lack of a head on your profile photo interesting; this privacy thing is a strange concept to me), I was blown away by your profile. It’s very authentic.
You exude an awareness and connection—a sort of groundedness—to the important things in life. This is rare.
As such, I feel it's all too appropriate to tell you about the Personal Development for Smart People discussion forums:
www.stevepavlina.com/forums
I think you'd like it there; you’ll probably find the community very like-minded.
Also worth mentioning is Steve Pavlina, the person who hosts the forums there who also runs the popular—and very different—personal development blog, StevePavlina.com. Check it out; you’ll probably like it, too.
I sense that we have similar alignment with power (one of the three primary principles of conscious growth that Steve talks about in his blog and his new book, Personal Development for Smart People). People with a high degree of self-alignment have much capacity and potential for expansion, impact, and influence. You seem to easily cut through the clutter of the raw food paradigm; makes me wonder what the (very individualised) result would be when applied to other paradigms.
I’m interested to see what influence you’ll have with your life.
I agree people need to go beyond the simplistic "Anything raw is Healthy" to comprehend the value of "Alchemical Science" -that is the Ayurvedic or Elemental approach to viewing the body as a unique constitution passing through the cycles of time/karma -wearing many other Bodies beyond the physical!
...I am working on my book that will be an alchemical raw guidebook. ..Namaste'

I have not used the stuff for years, it gives me heart palpitations.
but when I did use the stuff my 1st choice was liquid (especially the flavored ones they have like toffee)
2nd choice: white, which is more processed, but I can not even stomach ...

I have almost no idea what qualifies as soft rock, but if most of the music here is any indication, that's probably because I don't actually like soft rock. For the most part. Does Queen qualify as soft rock? I ha...
