About Me:
Hi, I am a fun loving girl, and just cannot believe I found the most wonderful community here online filled with others with some of the same life values that I have, and that is to appreciate the basics and nourish the soul. There is one thing that I struggle with daily, which it originally has gravitated me here, and that is I have bipolar 2 with ultra rapid cycling disorder. I have obsessive compulsive thoughts that interferes with fulfilling normal activities on a day to day basis. There are a lot of things that can trigger my illness to be extremely worse, such as stress, poor diet and sleep, or it may come and go on it's own. This illness is a constant struggle and if there are any other bipolar's out there please feel free to share, because one bipolar will always understand another. I am also an entrepreneur, a single mother, and craft hobby lover. My soul seeks happiness, and pureness! I look forward to future discussions with all of you. Please send a request if you sense a spark in friendship with me :-)
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
i have switched to a raw diet to help my illness, i find that just coffee can switch my mood and cause anxiety. i find that whey drinks with soy milk help me feel better throughout the day.

There are a few people on this site who are recovering and have fully recovered from the major symptoms of Bipolar...at least that is what I have come to find. Say no to caffeine! Also make sure to throw in tons of greens in your smoothies if you make them! Dis-identify from the illness. Its not you. Just like having a paper cut isn't you. Anything that is wrong or off-balance can be brought in balance through belief, persistance, friends, family, raw food friends and family, meditation, reading, blogging, art, surfing and raw foods. Read: Depression is a Choice by A.B. Curtis. She recovered from bipolar without meds or raw food!

RGG, the belly-centered symptoms that most people (mistakenly) call hunger usually pass within 2-3 days. Your body is not hungry while fasting because it gets all of its needs met from its own reserves.

Another way to think about this is that "frugivore" is a word used by scientists to describe any animal that eats a fruit-based diet (including virtually all of the anthropoid primates). "Frugivore" has an accepted scientific definition. "Fruitari...

Hi Priyam and RGG, Even blending them is a big step down in quality from eating them whole, for a number of reasons. The pre-chewing argument -- often heard -- doesn't really carry much weight as the benefit of chewing in the mouth is that any re...

Try this. I found out about it when I worked at Jubbs longevity. There is absolutely no aftertaste and a bottle lasts forever. I've been using it for years. Lucky Vitamin has amazing prices on many things too. http://www.luckyvitamin.com/item/ite...
