I am a nature child originally from Vermont who is now living in the big city. I love canoing, kayaking, snowboarding, skiing, camping, biking, jumping off cliffs, reading, illustration, music, maps and life. I am just starting out on this raw food adventure and am very curious to see where it takes me physically and spiritually.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
I think when anyone embarks on a new adventure support from others creates success! I will just need some guidance in making sure I am doing this the right way.

nice to meet you jennifer :)
i see you're out in minneapolis! what a great place to be for raw foods ~ there's lots going on in the raw community (potlucks, gatherings, group buys, etc.) and plenty of co-ops with great produce. hope you find the support here you need, let me know if there's anything i can do ~
juicy fruits and leafy greens,
tom
Wow, that's great! I noticed you had deleted fb... it's so tempting, lol.
It's going good for me too, nothing exciting like you though ;)
Have fun running around with your Mom! We will see each other soon, I'm sure :)
I use spicy food, that really warms up my body and gets me going. You can always make a soup in the vitamix and keep it in there a little longer so it is sort of warm too! : )
I went to Middlebury College and spent a bunch of time at the Center for Northern Studies in Wolcott... Nice area... I would imagine that the weather in Minneapolis is the same as Wolcott... perhaps a little windier though.
A raw diet works for all types of exercise/running... The only thing it won't do is put on massive amounts of muscle, as that's unnatural anyways.
2 apples
10 pineapple guavas
small cup steamed, sprouted black beans with raw spinach, pepper, tomato, cilantro (no salt)
2 sticks celery
6 red bananas
10 more pineapple guavas
7 satsuma tangerines
1 pomegranate
10 dates
I have not used the stuff for years, it gives me heart palpitations.
but when I did use the stuff my 1st choice was liquid (especially the flavored ones they have like toffee)
2nd choice: white, which is more processed, but I can not even stomach ...
Soft rock is soft, not driving rock, but soft gushy love songs, romantic, smooth..stuff you are embarrassed to admit you like.
Stuff that makes you imagine you are swimming with sea horses, or hanging out on a rainbow with your love.
Only because Suvine asked me to.
I have almost no idea what qualifies as soft rock, but if most of the music here is any indication, that's probably because I don't actually like soft rock. For the most part. Does Queen qualify as soft rock? I ha...
