Pleased to meet you Jeanette. Im not 100% raw, just listen to my body and work with it. I'd like to be 100% raw but my body isn't having any! Not 100% fit, never will be. Incidentally oils in general by mouth help dry eyes, especially evening primrose oil.

But I have a good life, 2 baby grandsons, Rowan 2 and a half and Oscar 17 months with congenital muscular dystropy - just adorable, lives locally thank goodness.

You sure sound busy. Is SA ready to accept raw food etc? Round here it's hard. I enjoy food allergy testing, massage etc - part time. Would like to do more allgergy testing. I give dietary help all the time, in the course of my work. It's uphill with most people.

Take care Jeanette and keep up the good work.

Hi, Jeanette! I'm not sure what to say about your eyes. Have the docs figured out the cause of the dryness? Is the dryness the only factor that's harming your vision? The eyes tend to take much longer to heal than other organs. Although some folks have said that raw foods don't have much affect on eye issues, I've heard many amazing stories of folks whose vision improved dramatically. Hang in there ... this one may just take some time. Our bodies tend to heal themselves in reverse order that issues appeared, so your body may be working on other things right now. I'm confident that your eyes will improve, but it may take time. Until then, drinking plenty of water (at least half your body weight in ounces on a daily basis) and using herbal moistening drops may be helpful. Please keep me posted on how you do. Good luck and blessings to you!

Hi Jeanette
Great to hear from you. There is a company in SA called Health makers. I bought the Dehydrator from them. I am going into bigger production now and would like to build myself a dehydrator powered with Solar energy. Pretoria has such a great climat that I can run the Dehydrator all year long on solar. Well, still working on the design, I have to be able to control the temperature??
I would love to meet you when you back in SA. My wife is a raw vegan and happy to know that she is not the only one.
Greetings
Marc

Hello Jeanette
NIce to meet you. So we are not alone in Pretoria, there are others like us.
I thought it would interest you that I have just started to produce snack food for raw, vegans, vegetarian and any body who likes to eat ultra healthy. Basically I have two ranges, savory and sweet. I do not use any sugar, salt, wheat ( only sprouted ) colourants and preservatives. I sprout various seeds, mix them with sprouted Almonds and a variety of organic vegetables, grind them all up and add spices and herbs, after that, I forme the mixture into small patties and dehydrate just below 45 degrees Celcius. That way everything is still alive, full of enzymes and vitamins and totaly organic and alkaline. I had all products tested with a pendulum and they are also suitable for diabetics. If it interests you, let me know. At this stage I sell at my own market every 3rd Saturday of every month. It is the Longstreet deli Market corner Millner in Waterkloof. I host the market outside our shops every 3rd week. It has become a nice comunity market where people get together and reclaim the neighbour hood. I would love to hear more about you. What made you a raw foodist? Greetings
Unfortunately my africaans is not very good. I am of German and French decent. I understand most but can not talk much.
