The guinea pigs had a baby yesterday! :) Sooo Cute!

I love to look at them while I'm running on the treadmill when I run on the treadmill at the house. So it was extra special to do my barefoot run on the treadmill this morning while watching them AND the new baby just born yesterday! :) Soooo cute! :) No wonder the mom has been so hungry lately. LOLGuinea pigs and rabbits make great companions for 80-10-10 people IMO. They like to eat the same sorts of things, but often different parts (especially the guinea pigs). They are small and furry and…See More

Profile Information

About Me:
AKA Jungle Janie, Ambiance Fairy & Fruitnymph

My hobbies/interests include: fruit - eating, growing, carving, discussing, etc.; Permaculture & wildcrafting; organic farming; fitness, dancing, weights & exercise; communing with Nature, people & the universe; helping; creative stuff and more. I tend to be a hard-core do-it-yourselfer in life, finding joy in the process as much as the product.

My ideal lifestyle would be to spend my days in nature, picking and eating fruit and greens, making love, dancing, making music, making pretty things with natural stuff, and basically frolicking around, sometimes nude. I am headed back towards a simple life in nature, yet have been intellectual and have quite a bit of technological skills and knowledge. My future is a blend of the two; simplicity is key.

I eat fresh raw fruits and greens primarily, as well as some veggies, nuts and/or seeds at times and love the food, simplicity, and results in my health and happiness. I don't expect you to do the same, but it's always terrific to share great raw food with someone I like. :) You can read more about my raw journey and such at my raw website: JungleJanie.com, which has all sorts of stuff about my raw story, including journals and blog.

Even though I prefer nature and natural living, I can and do appreciate movies, the Internet, arts and crafts, music, travel and more.

I am part of the Essene Church of Peace. I am a "slave" to four should-be-illegally-adorable guinea pigs, one rabbit that captured my heart, and a very whiny cat.

ReAwakening

Good Morning! I just thought I would post to say hello to everyone, as I am coming back after a long haul of taking care of others who were in very bad straights, which in turn put me in very bad straights too.  I am back to being me now, and pursing the life I have wanted and missed for so long.  I am growing my holistics and massage practice in Coppell, TX, healing myself, and thriving! It looks like many of the folks I knew when I first truly embraced raw veganism are not around.  I was…See More

If you can do headstand, it is easier to do the Lotus position there then sitting. 62 year old Narayani explains why and demonstrates how to do Urdhva Padmasana, Headstand in Lotus, also called inverted Lotus Position. It is a more advance Hatha Yoga Asana. You should know the basics of Yoga before trying. Even if you can't try, it is beautiful to watch. Recording in Yoga Vidya Ashram Meinberg. In the background you can see a mural of the Kundalini Shakti going through the 7 Chakras.
