Nah, I had a mishap with some indigo I bought to dye my hair darker. It's washing out though, no biggie. Probably why I shouldn't mess around with hair dye, no matter how natural it is.

It's nostalgia and a bit of idolatry, I spent a lot of time in that general area of the world and most of the family I'm in contact with are from that general area so if there is any disconnect with humour and culture I feel it in media :)

Ya I see what you're saying. I think spirituality and raw food, in my opinion have different levels. I think some people put too much emphasis on it being itself a spiritual practice, so I'm arguing the point that down plays it, not to obsess abou...

I just got your msg about the cheesecake, asking for a recipe - which cheesecake was that exactly? I realize Im kinda late, as it was sent in November! :O
I'm new to this community too and have a specific interest in African, Caribbean and Asian inspired raw food dishes.
zest of 1 lime
juice of 1 lime
juice of 1 orange
1 ripe avocado
agave - to your taste
when I made it, I was constatnly tasting it and adding a bit more of whatever was needed to reach the perfection :-)
Nutty lemoncello (RAW VEGAN)
330g mixed nuts saoked over night (I used hazelnuts, walnuts, brazil nuts and almonds)
lime zest
lime juice, orange juice (both fresh)
ripe avocado
agave nectar
All blended together untill smooth, frozen, then decorated....... yummy!
