Profile Information
About Me:
I've been a raw foodist for 7 years now. I have made it a point to research and educate others on this healthy lifestyle, and my path is constantly renewing and invigorating me on a daily basis.
My current occupation is Academic Dean at a business college in Jacksonville, FL. I am currently doing research on a book about the raw food movement and all of its beautiful participants. This site has been a godsend, and I am constantly renewed by the participation of this community at large.
Furthermore, I welcome all types of contact from any of those wonderful people who care to reach out and say "hello". I am friendly and I choose not to bite ;-0
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
This community exists, and for that I am grateful. I could rant and rave about my individualistic/collectivist theories until I am blue in the ears. I shall not do so in this format based on enusing boredom that would hamper the reader.
Relationship Status:
Single
Favorite Raw Food or Recipe?
Almond breaded/curry dusted coconut "white fish", over a spiced red broth, garlic-rosemary "potatoes", topped with a mango/grape tomato salsa
Interests (outside of Raw Food):
Educating, writing, heavy metal/jazz/new age, the New York Mets, snowboarding, reading, financial planning, traveling. I have travel plans for 2009, and I would welcome the opportunity to meet with fellow raw foodists to join for intelligent discussion, good food, and kindred spirits (the non-alcoholic kind of spirits)
Itinerary, 2009:
11/09/09 - 11/10/09: Columbia, SC
11/23/09 - 11/30/09: Portland, OR
12/02/09 - 12/06/09: Las Vegas, NV
*note: Fates Warning was absolutely incredible :-) Portland, OR has always been on my radar, so I am looking forward to heading out there, and even visit some friends. In December, my college has graciously nominated me for their Circle of Excellence in Las Vegas!! There's 2 raw cafes in Vegas, so I'm looking forward to it :-)

Oh hey, you're so welcome! No I don't think teeth brushing will undo it. Actually it will finish the job. You can do it with just a wet toothbrush without toothpaste. I'm so glad its working for you!
Cool! I also have a pic with Viktoras Kulvinskas. It was taken when I was doing the Health Educator´s course at the Hippocrates Health Institiute a few years ago. Hours and hours of classes with him, holding our jaws out of awe for his insurmountable knowledge! Thanks to his lectures everyone was hooked on a large amount of enzimes and we were all feeling fantastic. Keep rawking, Ian :)...

Hire me as a professor, eh? What kind? A professor of positive energy and enthusiasm? hehehe. Well, in all seriousness, I've always felt like a natural teacher/ healer so the idea of working in a school- teaching, inspiring, etc. isn't that far-stretched. =)
Hello Ian! Thanks for finding me on this site! Glad you like my tunes! I'd love to hear all about your individualistic/ collectivist theories... sounds enthralling. =)
In the past couple of days, I have had some ugly and unwelcome visitors knock on my door. Their shadows have darkened my doorway, and these guys really want to be heard!
When your “demons” come knocking at your door, and you are forced to look at...
