I completely agree....my good friend is a Chemo/Radiation Nurse and she always tells me that if she got cancer, the last thing she would do would follow the recommended toxic treatments. It kills everything good inside the body, on the off chance ...

I watched your video. Everything each of them said is so sad and so true. Thank you for posting it. We're on the good health road of raw food.

I have this movie, it's fantastic!!!! I want to show it to everyone I know and care about. We all know someone with cancer and there's so much more hope than we realise.

I am not sure, but a lot of the photos I took - including this one - were taken of the crudessence stall, a raw cafe in Montreal, Quebec. And luckily for us, they are working on a recipee book so most of these yummy things you will probably be abl...

Profile Information

About Me:
I've always been a kind of health nut but have always eaten with my mood and motivational changes so I often eat super healthy and then not so good. But I never knew about raw until summer of 08. I visited a spiritual transformation village in the costa rican rainforest and lived on raw food for 2 and a half months (about 80% raw as I ate grains, and I did eat raw sweet food) and I felt amazing - my thought processes were so much more direct, I had more clarity, more memory recall, more vocabulary. The cognitive effects were the most prominant. I was not able to keep up the raw diet over the next 7 months as I was travelling the beautful earth but now I am settled living in Nelson I want to expand my raw diet, learn about raw, create amazing raw food. I question whether raw in such a cold climate is right for my body but I want to explore it again and see how I feel.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
I need support to transition as I do not know any raw foodists in my town. I also hope to connect with raw foodists in Nelson.
Relationship Status:
Single
Favorite Raw Food or Recipe?
raw sweet goodies like raw "cheesecake"

Healing Cancer From Inside Out - A Brilliant film by Mike Anderson

A must must see film - mindblowing docu on the crazy cancer 'market', our treatment of cancer, the fear machine of cancer, the way research is played. It is just stunning - watch it!

Trailor can be found here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xkyMAYmrQY

I mean really, it's crazy - we treat cancer with the most toxic things to humans, destroying the immune system, the very thing we need to fight cancer and other disease. As crazy as putting mercury, one of the most toxic elements to us, in our… Continue

The Meatrix - film. Check it out, pass it round.

A short funny film reminding us of the horror of factory farming.

Reversing the Irreversible - film by Valya Boutenko

Although the trailor for this doesn't make the film look that great, I remember this film being quite astounding. It basically documents a load of cases of switching to a raw diet and reversing a wide range of considered to be chronic conditions. These kind of changes always amaze me so I enjoyed this film and remember a distinct feeling of inspiration after watching...

Valya is daughter of Victoria Boutenko, a big name in the raw food scene and both part of the "raw family", having reversed th… Continue

Money Talks - film by Holly Mosher

This is an amazing film about the pharmaceutical industry and its rampant obsession with gross profit over health of humans, highlighting its cosy ties with the US government, the bias reporting of drug test results, the direction of financial resources largely to marketing than drug research....

A film difinitely worth watching.

Kombucha Tea

So my first Kombucha experience - I brewed by first batch and bottled it about 4 days ago. It fermented for over three weeks and was still very sugary still. I followed the advise of a Kombucha book, but using Ridgeways organic black tea rather than orange pekoe, and I used nasty cheap refined sugar. The water was bottled mineral water as I happen to have a huge container of. I had planned to use honey but advised to allow the kombucha to make a baby and get settled into its new environment befo… Continue
