I don't think I've ever tried wax paper. I've made burgers and crackers and some other stuff and it seemed fine.
does it stick to food more than wax paper? maybe I need to try this too........
I don't dehydrate much, but when I do, I use parchment paper.
Although I agree that Teflon is a concern, I believe the most likely way for it to enter the body may be from coatings on frying pans and the like. More Teflon is likely to be liberated due to high heat and spatula scraping during the cooking proc...
No dehydrated stuff for me. Dehydrated foods really upset my body, it has to use its own moisture to compensate for digestion.
Thx for this, most people dont know that Teflon is "Polytetrafluorethylen".
Further Names for it are: Dyneon (former: Hostaflon) and Gore-Tex as a Membran, for clothes.
New Piercing-Materials are made of it too, just the sticks, not the rings...

- Salutations Goddess THe clothing was made by my friend Sanni who is designer. The material was trunk painted by an elephant and given to 15 designers to make clothing from in order to raise money to help preserve the elephants habitat. I just modeled for her. If you have not seen the youtube videos of elephant painting you might like to check it out. Very touching Love Govinda.
