I'm an artist based in a small town with so many friendly people. Life here has helped me learn to slow down and experience the warm feeling of community. For eight years prior, I worked as a massage therapist in Colorado, where I enjoyed the mountains and outdoor lifestyle.
I am mom to a funny and sweet four year old boy who has been my inspiration for so many good things.
I went raw February 2009 after some time as a vegetarian then vegan- it has been a surprisingly natural transition.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
GI2MR Oath: I promise to do my best to keep this community drama free. I will not name call or throw around personal attacks. I pledge to be respectful even if I do not agree with another member's opinion. When possible, I'll try to smile : )

I made this back in February and yes it's all raw. It's dehydrated sprouted crackers from Rainbow, with cashew cheese, tomatoes, pesto, avocado and arugula.
I would ask him if he is interested in making a dietary change and if he shows interest then that's great! If not, be a shining example of health and hopefully one day he will come around. He has to do it when he is ready otherwise he will feel it...
