- I've been eating a raw food diet since 2002 and it has profoundly changed my life. I run Funky Raw which has an online shop, magazine and festival and I teach raw food and wild food workshops.
I pick wild greens every day and I'm learning more all the time.

My projects
I've been eating a raw diet for nearly 7 years now and it's become a mission of mine to spread information about raw food and health, plus everything that goes with living a natural life.
Funky Raw magazine
I publish a quarterly raw food magazine as an ebook and a printed magazine and am always on the lookout for new writers and artists - at the moment payment is a free copy of the magazine. Open for articles on raw food and recipes plus related areas of spirituality, consciousness, permaculture/gardening, alternative heath and more.

How to make a raw Cherry Cake

And if you don't have a juicer, you can blend the coconut meat and squeeze it through a nut milk bag to get the cream.

Store bought almond milk will often be pasteurised (and possibly made with heat treated almonds). Making your own with raw almonds is always going to be better.

In fact we met once at a Five rhythms thing in... Victoria I think it was... I recognised you from your picture in funky raw. and thanked you for helping with the promotion of a raw event at Planet Organic. Don't know if you remember, it was sometime last year... I had no idea you lived so close. I will make extra sure to keep an eye out for your events and invite you to any raw potlucks I have. Oh and of course you guys would be welcome for a green juice or chocolate pudding anytime

I am new to Raw and want very much to connect to like minded souls - living in rural Lincolnshire is somewhat isolated - but hey ho the plight of the alienated!
I was really excited to see an advert for the festival in July. It falls into term time however and I am unable to come for the week.
I wandered if it's possible to come for the Saturday night at a reduced price?
I am a qualified Steiner teacher and can offer story telling services for the children that are there.

the thought of not brushing my teeth,i find repulsive...after so many teeth issues when i was a kid,up until i went low fat raw..im super diligent on the flossing and the gentle brushing....my gums dont bleed anymore either Debbie...
yeh,they totally rely on their natural instincts,something i am trying to get a firm grasp on in my own life...trusting my instincts and living my life this way,has worked so far :)
