- I am a mom, an outdoor enthusiast, a former women's studies professor, and currently an entrepeneur. I am creative and energetic and live in a small city in the interior of British Columbia. I am looking forward to spring and summer so I can go forage in the wilds for edible greens. This will be my first summer raw in BC so I am psyched about this opportunity to connect to my environment and be nourished by mother earth in this special way. : >

- Reading, parenting, outdoor stuff. I love to be outdoors and have been known to hug a tree or two. I didn't plan it. I just sort of happens from time to time. The more time I spend in the forest hiking, biking, cross country skiing, running, etc the better!

- I thoroughly enjoyed "Infidel" by Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Amazing book!!

I grew up in Boston and am up there all the time. There's a chance I may move back soon so I definitely want to know what you guys are up to. I didn't think there was a Raw Food scene in Boston.

That's awesome ^_^ I've definitely had my fair share of scissor mishaps when I was younger, I'm glad I eventually grew out of that :P
I heard that we were a dying breed, but then again it's a genetic mutation so maybe that's not such a bad thing,...
For raw foodies in the Boston, Ma area
face them,stand tall and say,"you talking to me ya bastard,come orn show me what ya got,cos im not taking any of your shit!!!!" so fucking there....kick them to the door,open the door shove them out and say never darken my door way again thank you...

I never stopped eating raw food. I just eat it along side the cooked food;-P

I believe we spoke when here when I was living in Toronto; just moved to Vancouver..so my first year in BC too!
