Old-fashioned photobooths (see pic!), crispy cold winter wonderland days, a disco tune a day, and exercise, exercise, exercise. Most importantly though: being and becoming.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
Be yourself - the best support ever!
Favorite Raw Food or Recipe?
I try to eat seasonally (but I have a major weakness for coconuts).
Interests (outside of Raw Food):
bell hooks has described my life in describing her own: '... it was and is easy to keep life simple. I had a daily routine. I would be awake early to meditate and exercise, then I would write. By afternoon [or in my case, early evening], I would wander around town, ending up at the local bookstore ...'
Favorite Books or Authors:
Changes so often. Currently reading Wounds of Passion: A Writing Life by bell hooks.
Favorite Quote:
Again, changes often. By Etty Hillesum, describing her experiences in a German concentration camp: 'I know that those who hate have good reason to do so. But why should we always have to choose the cheapest and easiest way? It has been brought home forcibly to me here how every atom of hatred added to the world makes it an even more inhospitable place'.

i don't know if it's available here yet or not. . . somehow i think not. . . i seem to remember the last time i heard about it, i was disappointed that it wasn't because i watched some of her videos and saw shazzie mention bits about her yummy recipes and especially choco treats! i'll check again, but would also love the recipe if you felt like sending it along. . . xo
oh my goodness. you have made this chocolate and mulberry loving girl oh so very happy!
i do love dark. . . but i'm with you on this one- the lighter one was sheer heaven, and it tasted wonderfully like the carob bars i remember from my crunchy-homesteading -ish childhood! They were treats when we went to the health food stores. . . so the taste transports me right back to the smells of flour and bulk herbs. . . i love it.
You truly are amazing, much love and gratitude. . . I'll try to share with others but can't make any promises! ;)
xo
I'm sure you're having the most amazing time. . . stocking up on cacao magic - watch out for those chocolate hangovers- ;))
and again. . . you have no idea how much gratitude and excitement you've generated in this girl!
for real???? i've never tried it. . . it sounds like heaven and combines cacao with mulberries for extra magnesium and iron (which i've decided my body must be a bit deficient in currently which would explain the cravings). . . also potassium as i'm doing a lot of running and hiking again lately.
SO. . . you would make this little mulberry addict so happy. . . tell me what I would owe you and thanks for feeding my habits! ;)
xoxo

Yes Papparazzis are actually real journalists! They just happen to do it mostly with Photographs but they do ask questions, interviews, etc. I actually like the Papparazzi they are really nice and just doing their job. I have not had a "negative" ...

Yesterday, it was the dark chocolate truffles from a patient's family. Today it was the box of "Moose Munch" my great aunt gave as a "thank you" for lending her my son's pack-n-play that we no longer use....
I decided to try just one truffle and ...

Cinnamon powder is used in Chinese medicine for colds and flus. Use lots.
Iodine is also good for killing viruses and preventing sickness. I like Atomidine brand, but nascent is good, too.
