I'm argumentative, but in the good way; a wannabe polyglot (Arabic, Russian, Finnish, Norwegian, Icelandic, French, Dutch, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Czech, Slovak, Serbian, Turkish - er, at the moment); a video game addict; lover of seaweeds and fruit, notsomucher of dentists and therapists; chronic nail biter; I role play through life and I do it all with a pronounced Jersey accent. And sometimes I weld stuff. And sometimes I poke people with the pointy end of stuff I've weld (welt? welded?). *Gulp* LARP. But only as an outlet for the poking with pointy ends (otherwise referred to as "fencing"). And wanting to be a wizard.
I whittle like Flint Fireforge and can occasionally (whenever I'm left alone with the furniture) be caught creating living room forts. I'm generally excitable and have never been able to overcome the giggles. Thinking about being tickled will make me laugh and clutch my sides in pain.
I like the word "polk."
I'm in love with that Belgian maître d'.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
Douglas Adams, Robert Rankin, Terry Pratchett, Tom Holt, Kurt Vonnegut, Alex Shakar, JK Rowling, Eoin Coffer, Christopher Moore, Carl Sagan, Richard Dawkins, Stephen Hawking, Einstein, Noam Chomsky. And anything astrophysics, linguistics - cognitive science, botany, chemistry, nutrition, ect..

Give me a topic for a pointless discussion on here. I'm thinking how yellow pee always makes me think of a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and whether that means my bladder is inhabited by leprechauns.
Wow, that is a lot of languages that you're learning. What do you use to learn them? I use Rosetta Stone and was learning Japanese, Chinese, French, and Italian from that company. I can speak Cantonese, English, and Spanish fluently, but my Mandarin is pathetic. We can practice new languages! I hope to learn a little bit of arabic, portuguese, and bengali for traveling. And Icelandic when I visit! It's really fun to learn about new cultures. I've Rosetta Stone incredibly helpful in learning new language. Blessings, ~Lily
Crazy stuff man... 18,000 dollars!...
Damn... Well, I'm all about improving my lingo, so I'll try and see a couple of languages (leaning towards Japanese, because I'm such a Japanophile :P)
Which languages are you currently learning?
(I'm asking this because I figure your probably learning about 5 languages at once and I want to know what the (super)human limit of learning languages is)
xx
I can't believe I just watched a 10 minute silent video :P
I love Rene Margritte though! The only thing that seriously freaked me out was the big blinking eye.
But why the fascination with Slavic languages? Are you part-Russian/Bulgarian/*insert other slavic country*
My excuse is that I'm half Bulgarian :)

P.S. Sorry for replying so late but I had exams this week.
What do you eat in the first stage? I really think I am going to try and get this book because I always crave fermented, savory foods and sea veggies. Do you eat animal protein?
Well, I never wasted away and actually feel that some of my deficiencies from poor digestion are turning around. But while I am getting the calories and nutrients I need, I sure do need to eat a lot! I often think of animals, like goats or rabbits...

Many people out there are becoming vegans, raw foodists, and vegetarians under the guise that it is healthier for them. Is it really healthier to being vegan though and are vegans/vegetarians being thrown the ookie doke by large commercial interes...
You could make an avocado chocolate (or carob) mousse but sweeten it with stevia, so you'll only be getting the fat and not the sugar.
Or you could make a green smoothie (or a regular, non-fat smoothie) and freeze it into sorbet:-)
Cool! :) Yeah we had a nasty pile of compost, I'd work it into the soil with my dad when he planted the veggies
LOL! Oh yeah the CA police! Making sure Columbia doesn't get too funky!
Have you tried hicheya Persimmons?
Be sure they are super-mushy ripe.
Just cut the top off and spoon out the lusciousness.
Too, banana icecream with frozen bananas , maybe a lil agave nektar and a nice caremelly sauce made by blending dates and w...
The diet is mostly cultured, raw veggies and non-starchy veggies. The remaining 20% consists of either a protein or a starch (but never eaten together).
It's strict in many ways. The goal of the diet is to not feed yeast in the colon, and to heal...
