About Me:
Hi,

I'm a single mum living with my teenage son, in Sydney, Australia. I've been raw for 6 years and my son has been mostly raw for about 3 years.

I suffered from lots of ailments for many years. Starting a raw food lifestyle significantly improved my health. I've never looked back.

I believe that eating raw and living naturally can be really simple. Being informed means being empowered.

I use the recipe from the "Raw Food, real world" cookbook.

3 frozen bananas
2 cups almond milk (I use their recipe)
1/4 cup agave nectar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 heaping tbl cocoa or carob powder
pinch of sea salt

yum!

That's sound advice. I used to eat a lot of nuts, but since I've been doing green smoothies, I have lost the craving. I still enjoy them now and then but they aren't a big part of my diet. I do keep a constant supply of homemade almond milk on hand. (My son certainly likes the raw chocolate banana shakes I make with them!)

Is it difficult being upside down all the time? :-)

Hi Eve. I'm a fellow single parent, but my son isn't raw. Was it hard for you to get him into it?

Thanks for the invite.

Thanks Eve,
the dressing sounds delicious, and right - the oils are necessary to keep warm and stay energized, I feel..
Raw food movement in Norway has some wind in the sails now.. first it is the potlucks, then I arrange a gathering for a politically founded organization to work on the tragic laws on health plants like stevia, gojis , and other effective foods proven to have super health benefits... But are illegal cause they work. The "medicine show" is hilarious all over from the monopolists...
And also support individuals and help marketing raw food places like the one I run here: www.hurdalecovillage.no

Wish you a lovely process finding like minded ones in your country.. I gathered a whole bunch in scandinavia by facebook.. and one day before you know I attend your potlucks, with some norwegian wood spoons! ;)

Hi Eve, I am planning a trip to Sydney in the next couple of months and wondered if you had any suggestions for raw food cafes / organic juice bars? Thanks :-)

Yes Eve, as the food is fine by 42 celcius degres, spiced with ginger, peppers or garlic I am "never" cold. Soups(hot, but uncooked), herbal teas(not burnt), and other dishes are fine when hot. But Chocolate is to me the ultimate warming food. not local, unfortunately also expensive, but honey similarly warms good. Sandoval reccomends to cook tomatoes, potatoes, and nightshadow plands, and thats ok with me,too.
Hot ginger (raw) tea is for me the most normal heater.
And for the more advanced; just cold food is enough, as energy and warmth is spiritual... :) and I even feel that quite often.. How about you?

Hi Eve,
Yes, my IsraelGoneRaw Site should be ready (B"H) by the end of the week. I have a few things more to do, amongst all the rest.
The Caesar dressing was delicious --- very authentic tasting---I'm going to have it again for lunch today and share with a friend.
Thank you for your website info.

How long did 50lbs last you? A week? I would recommend that a person get some greens to go along with their bananas.. did you forage for any greens that week?

That is a good point Angus. I have found that a lot of fundamentalist religions accuse everyone else of worshiping the devil and it like a blind hysteria- like all these other people have a black bible in their house and secretely worship a statue...

Yeah really that was just my negative response to Arnold Ehret's book from an emotional standpoint. I just found it lacking in completion. There's good logic in it though. First there'sDr . J. Tilden's book on the cause of disease. Toxemia Explai...

I'm not going to comment on climate change. But i will comment on carbon trading. Because they can produce such a consciousness of fear out of global warming - they are able to manipulate markets much more severely - and they seem to get away with...
