- It wasn't until I moved from Australia to Cyprus that a wise doctor first planted the raw seed in my head. Seven autumns later, as the seasons cycle forth, I'm dancing along my own raw journey and helping others on theirs here in Cyprus. Apart from being with my son and husband, I love nothing more than whipping up a three course raw meal - so...care to join us for dinner? :-)

So what is a birth account featuring on a raw food website? My answer would be that many women who follow a raw food lifestyle aim to give birth naturally; that is without drugs and unnecessary medical intervention. Raw food beliefs are intricately connected with birthing beliefs; returning and honouring the Source, the Great Mother and Father. Here's mine.

Well...phew! What a ride pregnancy and motherhood are! One moment it feels like gently gliding on a carousel and the next it is swashbuckling mayhem, navigating through the wilderness of sleeplessness, organic nappies and rocking chairs.
