About Me:
After almost two years of being vegan I finally decided to find out what "raw food" really means. The more I read the more it made sense to me. I became 100% raw vegan the next day. I thought this lifestyle will improve my physical health, had no idea back then that it will change everything in my life :)

Wheatgrass Juice

While reading Survival in the 21st Century I got inspired by the healing and rejuvenating qualities of wheatgrass and decided to grow some in my kitchen. But I have to admit that I enjoy growing my wheatgrass more than juicing it... Even the smell of the juice makes me nauseous...… Continue

Hi Erika,
Thanks for your comments about my videos! As for resources, I would suggest spending some time on my blog, http://laurabruno.wordpress.com, since I write about Synchroncity, Intuition and Intention on a fairly regular basis. My novel is all about those things and gives a lot of insider views of how to embrace them more. Other books would be Synchronicity, Science and Soulmaking ... as well as The Secret Language of Symbols, which has pictures of many commonly seen symbols. Enjoy!

It's all relative to the person. I like to think of a fruit as a seed-bearing pod designed and produced for the dispersal of the seed. If something meets that definition, then I consider it a fruit.

Hey Erika,

I would say the difference is eating greens as you suggested. If fruitarians could be considered as such and still eat veggies, then what's the difference?

My idea of a fruitarian is a person who just consumes fruit. I think that's what the title was truly meant to define.

Erika, this looks amazing. Can you give details on how you grew the wheatgrass like this please? I really would like to start my own, but wouldn't have a clue where to begin.....is it relatively easy? Many thanks in advance

I know what you mean. Our winters are very damp and rainy. It rains alomost everyday for like four months. I have a hard time with it because I love the sun and the warm weather. I keep telling myself that the rain is what makes all the flowers and plants grow and that helps me get through it. Good luck on your raw journey.

Life is wonderful...thanks for asking. It's Indian summmer right now in San Francisco and we are having our most beautiful weather of the year. Everyday is picture perfect so I try to get out and enjoy it as much as possible. I am an animal lover like yourself so I love to get out into the great outdoors and look at the wildlife. How is life in Lithuania?

Hey Erika,

I'm glad the link was helpful :)

Yes, I believe the cost of interning will be $3999 this year. I made a post on my blog about Health & Fitness Week 2008. If you read it, you will get some insights into my perspective on the cost of Doug's events.

http://robertbarbaro.gaia.com/blog

The first fast is 6 weeks. Then he runs another event at the same facility called the Walking Tour of Costa Rica. You can intern during that event which is 2 weeks. (I did that) Then the second fast is 5 weeks, I think. So you could spend roughly 13 weeks interning. There were interns from Australia and the UK when I was there. I believe there have been people from several other countries at other events. You can certainly email Lennie at lennie@foodnsport.com and she can answer all those types of questions far better than I can :)

Let me know if I can help in any way.

All my best,

Robby

Thats interesting but would the body react differently to fruit sugars as opposed to all the other sugars? I didn't have these spots when I spent most of my time partying and living on junkfood.....
