Mabolo fruit is ripe only in August to September in our region in Costa Rica. A true tidbit..If you ate a different fruit every day for 100 years, you would not even come close to the number of edible fruits on this planet. Costa Rica is said to h...

Profile Information

About Me:
Raw health chef and teacher in Costa Rica, inviting all those who want to co-create a sustainable raw foods conscientious community, called La Joya del Sol (Jewel of the Sun). I live harmoniously with Nature in the tropics, embracing the light of yogic living. I discover a delicious new wild food every week, recharge in pure waterfalls and pools, come share the life by volunteering and learning many interesting eco-projects, or spend a rejuvacation as long as you like. Email me at emrivkin@gmail.com for more info.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
I like to experience the company of other conscientious beings who value activities that support life, and expression of light and love. I serve others by teaching health and nutrition with raw foods, sustainable lifestyles, and conscious living and spiritual upliftment. Be that which you want the world to be ... is a ray of light I live by. Let´s connect...illuminate....and transform ourselves to Eden!

La Joya del Sol in Costa Rica hosts whole nature immersions with tent camping, retreats, coaching raw and natural lifestyles to folks from around the world, and indigenous peoples. If you want to live or just play in a raw food community, come and taste what it´s like to live with purest elements of earth, air, water and sun. Lots of incredible tropical scenery, fresh waterfalls and pools, 100% local produce and wild foods, gourmet or simple raw meals, and like-minded conscientious people. Especially tranquil and clean, it´s suitable for individual or group cleansing retreats. In 2009, there will be a raw food restaurant and healing retreat opening next door. Keep breathing, thriving health starts with clean air. I´ve been 11 years raw, and still can do better, as we all humbly can. I share my recipes in a book called TO LIVE FOR! with over 250 delicous recipes.

Hi Eric, I was not able to see the information on Facebook as I am not able to log in from work. I will try to see if I am able to get in on my cell. If I am not able, it will be the first thing I do when I get home. I did however see your pictures here and they are absolutely wonderful. The perfect surroundings for my family. Will be an adjustment for the girls, but we want this and will make it happen. Thank you again!

I distinctly remember feeling the exact way. I had the Nesco dehydrator before, and it stunk (it didn't work well). LOL The Nesco dehydrator is made in a circular shape and it would take doubly long to dehydrate, and food was often very moist/chew...

I think the green is more "leafy" tasting (which I don't mind) but doesn't have the same long-lasting aftertase that the white does. I love the Wisdom of the Ancients green stevia liquid. I've finally made friends with stevia, LOL! I get it from V...
