Hi, I'm 32 years old and married. I changed to a mainly vegatarian lifestyle approximately 4 years ago and have been struggling to be all raw for the past 2 years. I tried raw foods for a challenged held at my local Whole Foods and it was great. Since than I was pregant, and got off the wagon. Now I'm trying to get back on the wagon and could use support. I look forward to meeting new people.

Hi Elena, i am in ny! I also juice everyday but just for breakfast! Usually, i am not too hungry for lunch so i just eat some fruit or dates! So, lets exchange phone # and we will become juice feast buddies!! Are you going to purchase all the supplements as well?
Michelle
Yes you can check out this site as well: http://groups.google.com/groups/juice-feasters. I haven't started my juice feast yet to let you know my experience but from what I read you shouldn't have a problem with the restroom. I mean you shouldn't have the runs. I guess everybody's body will react differently. Also on this site as well "Give It To Me Raw" their are support groups with people who have already been through the juice feast.
Cool...are you going to start March 1st? I am! I just want to get all the supplements before i start so i am very ready on the 1st!!! I am really psyched about this!!! Maybe, we can call each other or support each other online!!!

Hi Elena,
Are there any websites or support groups for the Juice feasting. I have started to read Angela Stokes blog. I wanted to know how other people managed ie do people need to use the toilet often as in my job, I have set break times, quite unlike when I was working in an office.
Hi Elena, i see that you are going to participate in the global juice feast! I am too!!! So, i thought we could support and motivate each other!! What do you think? Happy new year!

So, I ate some (too unripe) pineapple and it "ate" some of me. Sore lips, chapped mouth corners, slightly sensitive/swollen tongue. Anyone know of good remedies for these conditions? Was thinking I should avoid stretching and licking my lips, and ...

P.S. I have a hard time sleeping without some nightcap food too. I was addicted to bananas and almond butter before bed, but I'm trying to phase it out by freezing bananas in the morning and then making raw ice cream at night.
Banana peach coconut smoothie for breakfast, then
3 Collard wraps with spicy mango salsa, avocado, onion, cilantro, sprouts, and sauteed portabello mushroom. Amazing.
Now I'm contemplating dinner. Might treat myself to Que Seraw Seraw in Burlinga...
P.S. Yogi, When my body is in an unwanted condition like ill or overwhelmed I also ask it "What do you need to get well or fix that condition?" Watch closely for it's FIRST THOUGHT and don't invalidate it. Then do whatever you please of course-you...
hi stacey,
I was doing Hatha Yoga, that involves asanas, prayanama, bandha and mudras.
Apart from yoga we were taught Anatomy, Psychology, Philosophy etc., so that the students of this course could teach yoga and take it as a profession later.
I had a green juice (Celery, Cilantro, Parsley, Apple, Ginger, Fennel, Chard)
And a massive salad with wild caught sardine.
Coconut leek cilantro and lime soup
Might have a coconut kefir smoothie in a hour or two
