Wow! This is great. Thanks.

(Yes, going to Austin for South by Southwest, but I'm more excited about checking out Austin and all it has to offer. This will be my first time in Texas.)
contact Craig Sommers, his base is there, although he's in Australia at the moment. HIs website is http://www.rawfoodsbible.com/ and his contact details are there
:)
I'd love to get together for a RAW food potluck dinner or meet at a healthy restaurant sometime at the end of March if there's interest. I'd be willing to host in Palo Alto.
Thanks,
Denise

Absolutely I'll be interested in a pot luck! I missed the one yesterday held in the mission cause I got sick. I think I'm detoxing! Stories to be shared later :). End of March sounds great. Hit me up with deets please!
Ah, WFs=Whole Foods. Thanks. My Buddhist friend from Shanghai who used to go for tea with me next door at Peet's used to call it Whole Paycheck Foods ;-) They've certainly done well for themselves.
Ever been to Common Ground on College Ave?

Thanks Denise, I'll have to try out the Mango Caribbean.
I embarrassed at my ignorance, but what are "WFs"?
I'm still trying to figure out how much overlap there is between the Raw community and folks interested in sustainable/local and organic food. I suspect the overlap is fairly large, but it doesn't seem complete. Any thoughts?

Hey Denise,
given your interest and location, got any comments or additions to a list of Peninsula restaurants? My lists in SF, East Bay and Santa Cruz are a bit longer. I'm hoping I'm missing some good places closer to home.
Thanks!

Hey Denise! I see you live in Palo Alto. I live/work there as well and I've been looking for more raw resources in the area other than the Whole Foods. Are there any restaurants nearby? I hear the Equinox by El Camino Real has a small raw place (take-out only), but I never lose hope that we'll have something soon.
Me walking between China and Dragon as I get ready to turn them out into a big pasture. They're my buds, they stay real close to me, one on each side, whenever I got out to where they are. It is very sweet! :)
It sounds like you are not eating enough fruit. If you eat more sweet fruit, your desire for candy and other processed foods that are sweet will go away.
