Flowing into Raw

Just to give you a warning:
I've done ear candling for the last two or three years and while it has helped me clear out sinus and cold congestion here's what happened the other day.

I felt a blockage (minus the sinus congestion) after the weather became cold again (NYC had a few warm days to fool us!) Anyways, I decided to get an ear candling thinking that that would release the blockage in my ear canal.

Day 8 – Quiet today. Cleaning up in the apartment and otherwise taking it easy. Have been traveling deeper and deeper inside myself and I've realized how much I've 'reacted' to the outside world. In a strong sense, the outer world doesn't matter, because it's a only mirror of what's happening within.

Day 5 – Today I had an appointment with Dr. Fred Bisci at his home on Staten Island. He asked me what health issues I had and then we discussed his recommendations for an eating plan (which is ~80% raw). It was amazing to meet an 80-year old man who has been raw for 40 years! I must confess that I spent a bit of time asking him about the changes he'd noticed in the raw food movement. Want to post them here, but won't do it for fear of beginning an uprising.

Day 3 – Ok, I had a mini cryfest after dealing with a crazy client at work. I had so much congestion draining out that it sounded like I was losing my voice, but my voice was fine. I'm a singer, so I know when things aren't right in that department.

It's the 2nd day and prep and completion were easy. I did feel very sluggish today so I let myself sleep in a little bit.

Most of my nasal congestion is gone although there's congestion behind my left ear. But this cayenne's gonna sweep it out.

I have realized how much my mind wanders during an average day. Ready for my body to wander endlessly and my mind to remain laser-focused.

Going to craft some intentions to focus upon during the rest of the detox.
