i really enjoyed the quote you have posted up there...absolutely reinforces and reiterates what i already feel so strongly about....i TRY with every fiber of my being to divert my attention away from newspapers, news in general, most television, etc...so unhealthy, all "doom and gloom", and it's just too easy to let the "expectations" society has of the behaviors and roles each of us should play take some sort of precedent...and i choose to not feel bound by those superficial structures... or at least try not to...guess i am human after all...:) hardest thing for me is staying away from all the health ads/propaganda, b/c i naturally have an affinity for anything in that category...SO hard to digest all the info out there and then have to sort out all the bogus stuff from the sound, scientific, advice.

- Hello! I love abandoned buildings, Iive next door to a very famous one in London... I tend to fly west coast more than anything and Florida, I always seem to be there! Infact I'm heading there next week.

I didn't know that the oats were cooked--I actually read about them in a raw foods book, so I figured it was fair game. Thank you for letting me know, because I eat them more often than just occasionally.

Hi agree with Erin, everything she suggested is very similiar to wha ti have found.
I am also seeing an accupuncturist and realize that we actually need cooked foods in our diet to support the spleen.
Healing with whole foods is a great start..

I've been doing some "research" on ear candling, and have found three different reports:
1) it's great, feels great, and really helps to clear out the sinuses/lymphs
2) it feels great, but that's just the warmth and it doesn't actually do anything...

I'm feeling deprived; I might have been a little too...early for these books. Sounds like they might be worth checking out though as I love a good children's book. Probably the right emotional level for me...
