Learning as much as possible within each passing moment is an unending goal for me. Expansion of mind, horizons and personal experience is paramount.
Oft referred to as "Edgy, analytical, sometimes overly political" and so I possess my own personal tagline.
Oh, I'm also vegan. :)

The sole purpose for putting myself in public view is quite different from the reasons I find given by others I meet in everyday life. It has always seemed that I've been considered to be the "odd one" in most situations regarding public exposure, and even when I ventured into alternative work after severing my involvement with corporate spokesmodelling, I have often been referred to as "The Lorax" ... Although I have never gone the actual pageant or beauty contest route (have entered and won talent contests, but these were based upon stage performance and musical ability), I've been singing and dancing on stage as well modelling in one form or another from childhood up to now for reasons which very apparently differ from "the norm."
My involvement in the entertainment industry has never been about getting attention for attention's sake (or even financial gain--throughout the course of my career I have skipped many meals due to an occasional recurrence of "starving artist" syndrome!), but basically to show people that an animal friendly vegan lifestyle promotes an amazing sense of vitality brought on by the Universal peace and harmony which comes from consciousness and shows through in a very bold way--even on stage/screen/celluloid.
It is also for these reasons that I ended up separating myself from corporate work of most types and have made a point of being as active as possible in my attempt to publicly increase animal, environmental, social as well as spiritual and individual awareness throughout the years.

- Music (I'm classically trained as a vocalist), animals, fine art, philosophy, spiritual awakenings, modelling, literature and documentary films.

- I'm a non-fiction junkie. Anything written by Cleveland Amory. George Orwell and Aldous Huxley are also highly respected and enjoyed. I'll probably elaborate more on this topic at a later date...

Is it really vegan? Who can you trust? How and why I became a raw foodist.

i agree we nee to look to these animal and plant species as the living creatures they are!
i know we are classified as this species but it really doesnt frame who we are
so...
i think about the word animal and the context people use it, and wonder if we could maybe think of a different term....

Yes, for raw vegans.... it can be challenging in Japan, but certainly not impossible and it is getting easier and easier all the time. There are more and more raw and organic resources here. If you have passion for Japan, then by all means come on over. You can play a big part in the growing movement towards raw, organic veganism..!!
Where do you live and practice Ashtanga? Do you have a teacher you work with reguarly...?
