XVII (I do not love you...) by Pablo NerudaI do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz,
or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off.
I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,
in secret, between the shadow and the soul.
I love you as the plant that never blooms
but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers;
thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance,
risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body.
I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride;
so I love you because I know no other way
than this: where I does not exist, nor you,
so close that your hand on my chest is my hand,
so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.

True Happiness by Michael LeunigHow may a man measure his own happiness?
He must first go to his cupboard and take out all his neckties.
Then he must lay them out on the ground
End to end.
Then he must measure the length of this line of neckties,
And that measurement,
That distance,
Is exactly the same as his distance from true happiness.

A) fell off the raw diet completely.
2) are still looking for hatless pictures of yourself.
III) Got into a fist fight with another gal who didn't like your ill-timed giggle and now your hands are so swollen that you can no longer type.
If it's none of the above, then do feel free to write back.
i love the line, “it’s both what it is and what it isn’t. invisible, too, when viewed side-on.” do you have writing available, or something completed you might like to share? i can’t suppress a smile reading your posts and would love perusing a bona fide pyjama-penned work. imagine, “curlypyjamas ~ the mellifluous memoirs”
in return I will send you one of my absolute all-time favorite albums which playlist.com doesn’t allow me to put on my page. and you can listen to the music my soul curls up next to in a blanket, spiraling argumentatively if you must. but let me know before any thuds transpire. if i can’t catch you i’ll at least sweep the place up a bit, maybe throw down a mattress or something. the least I can do is furnish your mental dialogues. ;P beyond psychological feng shui, you may even avert neural floorboards from snapping into oblivion. what dya say?
I don't mind the questions at all. I've been practicing for about 2 years now, but the first year and a bit was on-and-off. But this last 6 months I've been able to devote enough time to practice on a daily practice, and although I am still very much at a beginner level, I feel I've come a long way. It will be my first time to Mysore, and my first time to India. I'm really looking forward to being around other yogis and eating great tropical fruit. Also, I'm really looking forward to escaping this concrete jungle for nearly 2 months. So, how about you?
Well I would love to read Leunig...where do i find them though as of now!!!
It is great to know wonderful people here.everything is really beautiful in the raw world..haha!
so id like to know what made u turn raw...!!
I love those Australian maltas they import here.i know, i know, its imported goodies,...but!!! They are awwwwsome. why do they cost so much hereh though???lolz
anyways yeah animal work is a good part of my life.why isnt it so with more people i dont understand.am associated with street dog/cat care mostly.am a voluntary part of this shelter cum hospital.you know what...there is very little work done for strays here and no "homes" for the strays as such. i knwo things are vastly different in Australia or US or UK.one can only dream of those things here....
Would you believe it ...our shelter is facing the orders of immediate evacuation from the city corporation whoeverthosescumbagsare due to the weirdest, inane most possible reasons. i mean there are no possible legal ways to turn an animal hospital into a shelter for old and abandoned dogs and cats too! They want an either or option. CAN YA BEAT THAT???
we are really hoping to shift to a better place with all our animals and all.this needs to be done fast and there is so little funding! the rich dont care for all these, the rich at heart usually cannot pulll all that is required to run a hospital at its full glory. forget glory our hospital staff along with the pets are on the verge of being thrown out.
So grim news here.And there is little funding.the government isnt willing to part with its precious money to a young and hard working organisation. they would rather fund the old ones who really sit on their money and so more of the patients come to us!!!
If these creatures were humans then there could have been lotsa money.but they are just tons better,...angels...
Anyways so you would like to come to Mysore! Great! I live in Kolkata, which is in the east of India and Mysore is in way south but still ...
So well Mysore IS the yogi hub and every one wants to go there for that reason...Its time I took my yoga more seriously!!
Haha!!
*raw and slllurpy mango hugs*
hope i come with better news next time!
~~~ stay pretty and high!
I see you still haven't enlarged your cartoon. Oh well. I'm just going to assume it's something to do with the ancient Mayan legends of space aliens creating the human race centuries ago in order to mine for gold. I realize it sounds crazy, but every day that I recount it to myself, it brings me a small comfort and I learn new truths.
So in the two pictures that I've seen of yourself, you're wearing the same hat. What's the story behind it? Did you knit it yourself? Does it hide a bald spot? Does the hat talk to you after the clock strikes midnight?
you know, id say there is nothing more profound and inspiring than the all-too-infrequent use of the word wellies! Ive gotten the willies just thinking about it! I wouldn’t willingly wile away wild well-water wonderment willy-nilly without wistful wellie-like words! would you?
as for image embedding, you first put…
“<”
then "img src" with an equal sign afterward...then the url, and close with “>”
Helpful tip when performing abovementioned operation:
Notice how the ‘greater than/less than’ symbols bookending the embedded script is but a disguised display of dabbling ducks in discourse....say...at a crossing! for instance. you will undoubtedly see the irrefutable resemblance:
_“< . . . . . . . . . >”_
either that or pacman! If you recover your post-ex writing lemme know!
hugs and goodnight!
