- I'm experimenting with green smoothies and mostly raw right now with the support at Raw Fu.
I've got a lot of history with raw and vegan as well as gourmet vegetarian cuisine. So what I mean is I'm not real rigid and I find my body's needs change all the time.
Right now green smoothies are really helping me out along with a morning drink I call vitality drink which I discovered years ago when I lived on a farm with raw-fooders and then developed the use of it while at Murrieta Hot Springs resort "Alive Polarity".
We used liver flush and hot teas etc. So that's where I'm at today out of necessity. My gourmet vegetarian diet over the years has given me some issues. :-)
Time to lighten up and detox some of that.
- How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
- Vitamix recipes would really be helpful since I have never until now owned a Vitamix blender.

Banana Island-ish
Hey, My juice feast went on for 19 days (March 1 thru March 19) It was great! The trouble was trying to afford the greens and the green juice. That was boiled down to trying for at least 32 ounces of green juice and the rest realisticville with stuff like unfiltered organic juice on the shelf at Trader Joe's and flash pasteurized carrot juice in the fridge at Trader Joe's.
