I've been living in Paris for 10 months (I am American) and am very interested in Raw Food, but it seems like nobody in this city even knows what it is! Besides that, I would like to make new friends who have some of the same interes...

- About Me:
- I was introduced to Raw Food last summer when the Economic Crisis hit and I had trouble finding a job- ended up working in a Raw Food kitchen getting up every morning at 4 am to take the bus to work by 6 and working 9 hours making raw food usually without a break--- for MINIMUM wage. It lasted two month and then I got laid off, and my boss was not the most honest woman, but I do not regret the experience because now I am really interested in Raw Food and the whole concept makes a lot of sense to me. Through my work in that kitchen I also saw that Raw Food can be done in really interesting and delicious ways. I'm living in Paris now with my gf- want to explore Raw food but need info on how to do it in France which is not a country typically open to new-wave health-nut trends, etc...
- How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)

- I dunno, my old boss made all sorts of yummy stuff like raw chocolate mousse, raw cheescake, raw pumpkin pie, raw lasagna... mmmmm!

- Ahhhh Venice, Italy one of my most favorite Cities in the World! So fantasy, relaxing, the tomatoes were RAWmazing and organic there, I visited in 1997 and met some international architectural students and they invited me to a fun birthday party that night, there were students from France, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, it was so much fun! I also went to the Salvador Dali museum he is one of my favorite all time artists, he incorporates raw food and things in his art too!

they gossip about which teams are going to trade or sign star players. Most of it is bullshit. They just create rumors to sell papers / get hits. Still I eat it up.
I love when that happens.

Hi agree with Erin, everything she suggested is very similiar to wha ti have found.
I am also seeing an accupuncturist and realize that we actually need cooked foods in our diet to support the spleen.
Healing with whole foods is a great start..

Well, I saw lots of cute babies.
Yes the body heals itself.
It is a "self healing mechanism"
I've been doing some "research" on ear candling, and have found three different reports:
1) it's great, feels great, and really helps to clear out the sinuses/lymphs
2) it feels great, but that's just the warmth and it doesn't actually do anything...
