Profile Information

About Me:
Vegetarian with a high raw intake. I love simple raw, I drink a smoothie and eat a salad daily and am always making all sorts of raw treats in the dehydrator and occasionally prepare an actual raw meal. Because of my hectic lifestyle I like to keep things simple.

Aside from raw roods I love the outdoors, I am an avid rock climber (and recently started running) and also enjoy backpacking. I live in Texas and love it, but one day I hope possibly to move to Colorado (but would settle for Austin). I also seek to follow and serve Jesus Christ.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)

Actually I recommend the VitaMix hands down. It will change your life as a raw foodie. I broke down and got the VitaMix after getting $250 from my rents for my birthday, it helped with the purchase. The Vitamix i only $50 more and is well worth i...

If you did have an emotional thing happen to you around that time the flower essence agrimony would be good to take. Pumpkin seed milk can help heal- because it is high in zinc. And sprouted adzuki beans can heal adenals.. not as hard to find as o...

I've read brazil nuts can eliminate tumors. You only need to eat a few a day so you can add them to whatever nut cheese or pate you are making. Also chamomile has been used to shrink them. Burdock root or seed can be used- I've had it in kraut bef...

Did anything major happen to you around the age of 23 like an emotional breakup?

Hi Caleb, Your tumors didn't form because you were deficient in a particular nutrient or food. The body creates tumors to protect itself against poisons (carcinogen) that are in the body. These poisons are often part of the the diet, but they can...

Thank you so much for the advice; however, I am pleased (and super proud of myself) to say that I have nixed my coffee addiction!!! I haven't had coffee since New Year's day...and every morning has gotten a little easier :).... Climbing outside yesterday was unreal. I love being outdoors too (even if I'm just sitting and enjoying sunshine) and yesterday was perfect! I'm pretty though sore today...haha

ha ha that sounds EPIC!

You should definitely start bouldering. =)

I love it... no extra equipment... just you and the boulder, man! It really makes you be gymnastic and dance with the rock... through power and strength and finesse. I love it. =) =) =)

It's cold as SHIT though right now. I went bouldering yesterday and my feet were burning because they were so cold. Last year I got frostbite from a day of bouldering. haha.

hiya caleb...
there are tons of great trails and places here in missouri...the pics on my profile are from the lewis & clark trail right along the river...it's a fun 8 mile hike with some good elevation points to get your blood flowing....and a lot of fun to hike at night! my dream one day is to hike the grand canyon...
how about you...what's the best place you've hiked?
thought your profile was interesting...we share a lot of interests outside raw food...theology (former bible college student), hiking, outdoors, etc
i also loved how you shared your faith ;)

Hi Caleb. I am glad to hear you're ok. It sounds like you have had an interesting few days. Another thing you could try is chopped cabbage, red pepper, carrot, onion, with a little hot sauce, soy sauce (tamari) and cashews. It's like Asian stirfry. Add sesame oil if you have it. That dish you have in the dehydrator sounds great do you have a recipe for it? Another thing that is good if you want to curb meat cravings is grated beets in a seaweed wrap or collard leaf wrap. I think sprouted tortillas and cerea are great transition foods. You have to keep your strength up so you can get the really raw stuff stockpiled. Get big quart jars with lids and fill them with dehydrated kale chops, soaked and dehydrated buckwheat for breakfast cereal. Soaked and dehydrated seeds and nuts for musli and a stash of raw bread. Once you have enough to fall back on you won't even need the sprouted bread. Manna bread is more raw than ezekiel- people ate it when i was at "The Tree."
