I've been a classically trained violinist for the past thirteen years, so all forms of classical music are standard for playlist picks. :) By the way, I'm diggin' all this jazz; big fan. i must say that bill evan's peace piece is one of my favorites. it feels so nice to hear it right now. every so often when i find myself in an introspective space at a piano ill turn out something like this. peace...just for a while - forgetting time and place and context. also love gershwin, sufjan, mraz, almost blue, and spektor. great taste : ) we finally have sun here in MN, i hope the same in chicago!

I find it's quicker to make four cuts, scaling the outer skin equally then pulling it away and thumping with a wooden spoon. Plus it's less of a mess and you don't lose any juice because none of the kernels are cut :)
