I love living in CR, been there 3 years on and off. Best climate and pure nature elements make living there so healthy for body, mind, and spirit. Rainy season takes some getting used to, tho. But its like a perpetual spring. Life everywhere. Many people of like mind around who are easy to make friends with. Where do you live?

Hi Becky

Thank you for compliments. Your pictures on various themes are beautiful. How did you know Rabindranath Tagore? I love his Geetanjali (Tribute to Songs) poems which won him Noble Prize in 1913.

Love and Peace..

hey! thanks for the compliments! im actually just going to change up my playlist as we speak. Hope your raw journey is going swell. im just re-starting if you will and working on getting up to 95% its actually not hard at all...its just that people have a tuff time telling the difference than WANTING to do something..rather than doing it just for the sake or it, and because you know there's some sort of change that needs to happen. speak soon..and hope all's well..

The cat's name is... Cat!

Pathetic name, I know. It's my family's cat. My parents found him on the street and took him in and we've had it for like 15 years now. We tried so many names in the beginning, and we settled on Mitchell for awhile, but... I don't know... it just kept coming back to Cat. Cat the cat. So original, right?

No, it's great! It tastes just like cooked corn....Here's the recipe for the salad, try it out!

For the salad:
3 C fresh corn kernels (cut from the cob)
1 C roughly chopped celery
1 C chopped green onions

For the Dressing:
1/2 C Thai Coconut Water
1/4 C Lemon Juice, fresh
2 T Agave Nectar
2 T Olive Oil
1 1/2 t sea salt
1 T curry powder
1/4 C raw pine nuts

Mix all salad ingredients in a large bowl thoroughly.

Combine all dressing ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour over salad, toss well and serve!

I adapted this recipe from Matt Amsden's Rawvolution. The original version has 1 bunch fresh cilantro in the salad, and no Nama Shoyu in the dressing. It is far more sweet and tart; and it's a wonderful salad w/spring rolls! However, because I was serving Nori rolls and Not Tuna, I wanted it to have a stronger presence...Let me know what you think!

The best thing to do is drink green juices. Juice 2 lbs of greens per day. You are working from an old paradigm of health. Doing protein drinks doesn't help anyone. From your description you are not eating greens at all. You need to eat greens to ...

In the first stage, the diet is restricted to veggies, protein, and just a few grains (eaten in very small portions). Fermented foods and sea veggies are very integral to this diet, so it sounds like you might really like the diet. Nothing sweet ...
